I really wanted to love this place and I really looked forward to this booking but unfortunately it didn’t hit the mark for me. The courses were okay but nothing mind blowing especially after reading so many reviews I just felt it was really lacking a wow factor for me. The service and ambience was fantastic and can’t be faulted though.

Service wasn’t that great. The manager lady (i think) could use a better attitude to explain that you don’t do birthday cake, instead she was quite sarcastic. Food was above average, but I wouldn’t waste my time again to get up at 10am and booked a table just for this.oh no thank you.

First time fine dinning since covid, such wonderful experience with very unique taste for each dish. Every single dish is a surprise and opened my eyes for the beautiful art work. It’s a bit pricey but worth the experience and definitely recommend this place. Very hard and long waiting period for booking though.

Ordered the dinner for 2. Food was okay (not great).

The portions were small. Looked like it was only to serve 1 very hungry person. Not good value for money.

1 chicken breast to share.
1 square 5cmx5cm of cheesecake to share.
4 small pieces of roulade (which was actually delicious but not much of it at all)
2 x very small macaroons (uneven sizes and much smaller than expected - they are mini macaroons)
1 box of Green salad - fresh.

Food smelled VERY fishy when driving home.was kind of off-putting.

Pretty disappointed.

We had the perfect experince dining with Navi today, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. It was a nice touch having the chef come and serve a few of our dishes.

I have enjoyed Navi at Home twice and Navi Bakery and OMG they are so so good I never want Navi to stop these services! Thankyou so much for making ISO more enjoyable by being able to celebrate special occasions with your delicious food at home

Incredible food, wonderful small dining room with open kitchen and the chef who talks to all as he and his team deliver simply outstanding, unique and beautiful degustation based on current fresh ingredients and an amazing palate and technique.reasonably priced for the amazing quality of food, presented on gorgeous home-made plates. We had the most amazing dinner there last weekend celebrating our anniversary. The dishes were technically amazing, the flavours and combinations were interesting and surprising, and we loved sitting up on the chefs table and chatting to Julian and the team. We also got a signed menu at the end of the night as a keepsake for a very special day. 11/10 would absolutely recommend!

This place is not to be missed, the small seater allows for dinners to have an intimate experience where every course is attention to detail. The food here is some of the best I have ever eaten and it is not very often I go back to a place (there are so many resturants to try in Melbourne) but I have been back 3 time this year - their truffle week was amazing, I'm still dream about there pork taco - it sounds simple but dont let that fool you, the technique it took to make this dish was next level!

Excellent restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine with a focus on using Australian ingredients (including native plants). Service was attentive without being stuffy. Decor had a focus on natural tones (dark stone, wood, etc). Food was great with lots of new way to present food and flavours. Head chef Julian Hills came around to talk to us about the dishes and thank us for attending. It was a very lovely evening.

Have just enjoyed a wonderful degustation lunch at Navi with two girlfriends. My children gave me a voucher for mother’s day. I’ll definitely being going back with my husband. Beautiful minimalist fitout with plenty of space between tables. The music was low and unobtrusive. Very relaxing ambiance. We couldn’t fault anything. The food and service were superb. Each course was an explosion of flavours beautifully presented and just the right amount. The staff were friendly and professional. We left knowing that we would be back again.

The food at Navi is very intelligent, with a purity that allows it to highlight its exemplary ingredients. Every dish is carefully constructed, well balanced in texture and flavour, and cooked beautifully. It truly is a special menu, grounding and uplifting at the same time. I love how (head chef) Julian Hills features native Australian ingredients. I found his cooking deeply respectful. He is such a lovely person and his kitchen is very calm. The servers were so warm and polite. Along with Sixpenny in Sydney, this has been one of my most treasured and moving dining experiences. Thank you Navi, for having us.

We went to celebrate friend’s birthday. After reading many great reviews about Navi, it certainly wow us! We had over 10 courses, which were all delicately prepared and beautifully crafted with exceptional unique Victorian produce. Genuine great service by Julian the chef and our table staff, they took time to explain the food and where it comes from and how it was prepared and cooked. A true fine dinning experience without the formality! Love it.

Wonderful restaurant. Very small and intimate (less than 30 seats), the food is incredible and the staff and owner are all friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the degustation menu and I like knowing that I can go again in the future and have a completely different meal. Not cheap but well worth it.

We were lucky enough to get tickets to a Good Beer Week event. Each dish was matched perfectly to a beer. The service was seamless, and the food was out of this world. So awesome to have such a restaurant in the west.

What to say.it was maybe the best dining experience i had in my life, everything was perfect, at this level of skills it's not passion, it's obsession!
petit fours, entree, main, cheese, desserts 100 per cent satisfaction, they know what they are doing and the atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing, you feel  comfortable and lucky to be there. Also pretty affordable for the amount and quality of dishes. They care and you can feel it. Impressive professionals, and they will be rewarded for it.

Lovely small restaurant in a nonchalant bit of Yarraville. Beautifully presented foraged food. Something special.
