Naturipe Fruits reviews
74Reach early (best by 11am) on public holidays to avoid queues and to get low hanging fruit for easy picking. Cloudy day is best for visit. Ample parking but no wash rooms inside. Cherries, strawberries, peaches and nectarines were in abundance as on 26th Dec. Visit their website a day before to check fruit availability. Excellent for kids to keep them entertained for nearly 2 hours. Wear shoes instead of sandals.
Very good place to pick cherry, strawberries and nectarine. There is a ticket for cherry picking only. Good place for kids to enjoy fresh fruits.
Nice place but long queues so arrive early to not be disappointed to be waiting in a long queue
It was my 5th time here picking cherries, absolutely great experience best cherries, good prices and very friendly staff, especially the sour cherries can't be missed. Would highly recommend.
Went to u-pick strawberries. There were no charges for entry and it was also not very crowded. Strawberry picked were charged at $12 kilo so the price was ok.
The reason for low rating. The strawberry plants were not properly maintained and it seemed the picking was not properly monitored as the whole field seemed to be open and you could only find some good strawberries. The strawberries we picked were ok, they ranged from sour to sweet but compared to the strawberries picked from other places, they were just ok, usually the fresh picked ones are more on the sweet size. The size of the strawberries also ranged from small to medium.
May be the field had been picked out in the previous days due to holiday season, but my experience was just ok.
I did like the fact that there were 1kg punnets that you could buy if you were not successful at finding many strawberries and you were not charged for what you did not pick anyways.
We love coming here annually for the cherries season. For a small entrance fee you get to pick fresh cherries. This year there was also white cherries available for picking. There are strawberries and other fruits available throughout the year so check their website for what's available before coming.
There are plenty of parking and usually quite a few people but the farm is spacious so easy to social distance. You can also just drop by to purchase pre pick fruits and jam. The prices for fruits are reasonable and cheaper than supermarkets.
Naturipe is also conveniently located near other local farms and market so perfect for a short day trip to explore Bacchus Marsh.
Who knew strawberries can taste this good! Had a fabulous time and was fun for the young one too!
The staff here are arrogant and rude and make absolutely no sense. I was waiting in queue an hour with my husband and 2 kids, the youngest being 3 months. Because we were hungry I quickly went to get some strawberries to buy and when I got back with the pram I couldn't get through the barrier. When my husband told them to let me through the person at the entrance said 'no you have to wait in the queue again' and some other male staff member interjected and said 'you have to wait in the queue again I don't care there's so many people waiting' and was just rude.
Their reasoning was that they don't know if people pushed in but there were literally 5 others behind telling them to let me in because they actually saw me waiting. The other people told me to go through and just tell others my husband is waiting. No one had a problem with it except the rude staff.
The staff actually ruined the experience and I definitely would not recommend this place. They lack manners and common sense.
Waited in line for an hour when we were only strawberry picking (no entry fee), essentially waiting for those ahead of us in the line who needed to pay for cherry picking.
There really needs to be two lines, those who need to pay for entry and those who don't.
Additionally, on the big sign at the entrance there was a price showing for peaches and nectarines, however when we eventually got to the front of the line we were told only cherries and strawberries were available. There really needs to be a sign showing what is available on the day.
The strawberries were good though.
Great place and reasonably priced. Would be great if they allowed picnics and had a bit of shade for resting but otherwise, an awesome place with lovely staff.
Beautiful fresh strawberries, peaches, nectarines & cherries that you can pick yourself depending in their availability. Make sure to get there early though as it can get very busy.
Although at first their site mentioned that sour cherry is ready to pick up, after 80km drive they said that it is sold out!
Just strawberry and nectar, and laugh!
Wonderful day
Delicious Strawberry, cherry, nectarine and peach
It was the first time I saw a white cherry
Many ripe fruit to pick although there were many people on that day
I would personally recommend this farm strongly when it comes to u pick of cherries or strawberries or peaches, as the fruits grown in the farm are fresh and sweet with nice looking, and on top of that, the staff is nice.
The fruit was amazing, huge juicy apples and plump rich strawberries. It's a shame they had kids serving. So busy talking about their HOT dates, they didn't pay us any attention.
Very rude. Fruit was delicious though.
We love this place even though it’s bit far from us. Have been here many times for picking strawberries, cherries and apples and every experience was so fulfilling and well worth. Their strawberries are so sweet, always better than ones we buy from stores. No entry fee. Plenty of parking spaces and huge fields.
It's a nice day out. We paid $12kg for the sweetest and juiciest strawberries. We've also come when nectarines and apples are in season and the fruit here is so much nicer than supermarket bought. Don't forget to bring a hat.
Nice farm. One of the best and biggest cherries we have ever picked up. Would definitely visit next year.
Free admission for strawberry only pick up and only a few dollars for cherry pick up. Prices for take away fruits are quite reasonable. Good place for one day trip.
I've been to a couple farms and so far this is THE BEST place to pick dark cherries, strawberries, and white peaches. Excellent quality, variety and abundance. It's a huge farm land so there's rows and rows of trees to pick from. Spacious enough to move around in small groups without being too crowded. Very well maintained and staff were very helpful. Will definitely come here again!
