Doctor Lin has been one of the most patient, and kind persons, I have met. He does not ever rush me.

I've been visiting him on a weekly basis (the occasional missed week) for quite a while now.

I'd say that a majority of his treatments give me some kind of relief, (Thank-you), however, quite a few also have not. This keeps me tapping my head, and asking myself, "Why doesn't he give me a little deeper analysis, of the possibility of what else may be causing this problem, and what else can he do to try and help? "

I'm not expecting any diagnosis. Just possibilities.

I've had lots of body aches for quite a while, and a pain in my back that hasn't left me, even with lots of Accupuncture.

Since I woke up with Bell's Palsy on the 28th of September in 2016, I have tried 3 acupuncture clinics, Dr Lin is the only one who really helps me to overcome this disease. He is the best Chinese medicine Doctor and acupuncturist I have ever met!

Three times I have seen Professor Lin about mid/upper back pain and each time ONE treatment totally relieved it.

Most recently, for about two years I have had severe pain in my neck and between my shoulders. This is due to Foramenal Stenosis - the nerves leaving my spine and leading to ny hands are being rubbed on by bone outgrowth. This would usually be treated by dangerous surgery, but the Neurosurgeons at Footscray Hospital say that I am too ill to operate on. Instead, they inject hormone and long-term painkillers right on the nerve. In the neck, the surgeons are injecting into a site that is just 1mm from the blood vessel that supplies my brain.

They put me in the CT scanner for a hour to try to get the injection site right. One neurosurgeon (bain surgeon) said that as soon as he saw my MRI, there would be trouble. He tried for an hour and had to give up. The second Neurosurgeon managed after 70 mins.

Because the problem was neurological, I thought Professor Lin would not be able to help, so for two years I suffered a lot of pain, constantly taking Oxycodone, my shoulders totally stiff and locked up, so much that I could scream. Even though shoulders are Professor Lin's specialist area, in the past he wasn't able to help much with Bursitis. I finally decided to see him and he gave me a 30 min treatment, with needles in my back, After 6 days, this is the result:

* Total remission of neck pain
* Near - total remission of upper back pain
* Near - total remission of shoulder stiffness - they are just now beginning to stiffen up again
* A great improvement in the strength of my right knee; but it is now weak and painful again
* Arthritic pain in my fingers has gone
* Arthritic pain in my toes near-gone (it used to be bad enough to keep me awake all night)
* My usal taxi driver, not knowing about the treatment, said whe he saw me that I looked 'beautiful'
* My carer said I looked happier and stronger than she's seen me in six months. I wrote two poems, did two paintings, and started a musical piece. However I am now weak again.
There has been no change in the shakiness of my hands.

With ONE 30 min treatment, Professor Lin has done me more good than my doctor and three Neurosurgeons have managed in two years. It is rely like magic, though I will need a weekly treatment.
