I called at 3pm on Sunday 06/02/2022 to enquiry about my mom's eligibility for the covid booster shot as my mom is overseas tourist and she does not hold a Medicare card (I bought private health insurance and also National Pharmacy membership for her). The lady on the phone rudely replied that she doesn't know? And i should go to GP then just hung up. I felt treated so badly. I have been working in customer services for many years and still couldn't get my head around this attitude. I did not demand for my mom to get vaccinated there. I just tried to find out the services you provide there. You do not need to be so rude to not only me but anyone. I now regretted buying the membership from National Pharmacy.

Actually a good chemist with decent prices in comparison to other local nearby chemists. Super friendly and happy to help. Not quite sure what all those negative reviews are, they clearly need an optometrist.

Like the last reviewer, I couldn't initially understand the bad reviews either. I have found the people who usually work here - Micky, Sandy, Ananth, Renee, Fifi - to be friendly, helpful and courteous. However I have realised that on the occasions that I have had a bad experience it has been on a weekend. Take today, a Sunday, for example. I'm a local and a member and spend my chemist dollar here. On Friday I bought some expensive vitamins ($30), only to find my husband had already bought them for me. So I returned them - unopened of course with the seal in tact - explained the situation and asked to return them in exchange for something else. The surly assistant said she would ask the chemist. The chemist then thought it necessary to come from the dispensary and reprimand me as though I was a school girl. Her tone was punitive. These are tough Covid times. I will be needing and buying the vitamin pills plus other goods other times. Loyalty is to be nutured. Customer care should be just that.

Extremely poor customer service! Considering that that they work I a health profession that is meant to care for people these ladies definitely do not, it is appealing And mortifying to see. Don’t waste your time, go across the road to Priceline who provide excellent service and compassion.

Rude, disorganised staff, and expensive.their so called “membership” isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Steer well clear of this pharmacy.one star is one star too many!

Staff are always difficult. I tried to purchase Ventolin for my daughter and gave me the third degree and wouldnt sell to me even though i dont need a script and my daughter's school needed a replacement as the previous had expired. I purchased no problem from price line and the pharmacy in Newport. Don't bother with this lot.they dont help. Obstructive.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, I've been coming here for the past year and the staff are always friendly and helpful! Priceline across the road never have stock and little to no knowledge of products

I am 2 star generous coz the guy who gave me a flu vaccine was professional and like to joke but the two older ladies OMG can do with a smile and should stop looking at you with disrespect. Hope they never see me again.

Just went in to Williamstown National Pharmacy to buy some products and get a stat dec signed. Even though no one else was in their they were happy to sell me products but to busy to sign a two minute declaration. This is the second time this has happened. Worst service ever, never will I go back and I suggest people of Williamstown stay away. Better off going to opposition across the road where they are so much more pleasant and helpful.

Can't understand all the negative reviews! I'm a local and go there all the time. Micky, Sandy, Ananth, Renee, Fifi and the whole team are always only too happy to help out with whatever you need. The pharmacists are thorough, and ask you all the questions whether new or repeat medication, as they really care about their customers and ensure there are no adverse reactions. I wouldn't see this as the 'third degree' as one reviewer has said, but rather doing a good and proper job around the dispensing of medicines. The membership is totally worth it - we have a family membership and it has saved us considerably over the years. Keep up the great work:)

Here’s an idea. Instead of paying $40 a year for a membership, to avoid paying double the price for your prescriptions, go across the road to Priceline. They’re cheaper, and UNLIKE national pharmacies, don’t use their membership program to convince you to pay them to pass on government savings.
For my prescription, I can pay $18 for it in national pharmacies, $7.50 for it in Priceline, or $5.50 for it in chemist warehouse. Now, I tried national pharmacies because I was trying to choose the smaller business of that group, however I won’t be going back. I wish I’d taken my prescription back when I found out how much it was going to be, especially when the pharmacy clerk tried to sell me the membership.
The PBS lowers the price of medications, and soulless, money hungry pharmacies take all of us to the cleaners in response.
The $36 I paid for a months worth of medication (MORE THAN A DOLLAR A DAY) is the last cent I will ever spend beyond those doors. That is, unless it goes under like the last pharmacy to operate on that site. Wouldn’t be a shock to me.

Appalling service. Can no longer enter the store due to it stinking from one end to the other of perfumed sticks on display. Kept me waiting outside in the cold for 40 minutes for my scripts to be made up. Needless to say I will NOT be renewing my membership.

I find the staff go out of their way to help. Great savings when you are a member. Handy to have scripts kept there.

The worst Damm experience I've ever had to deal with. Appalling Judgemental pharmacy on duty. Jackie sorry you flunked medical school but don't take it out on innocent people. Anyone reads this DON"T GO THERE

I found Viktoria and the other workers extremely helpful and friendly. Their members discount is also useful.
