After moving into the area a couple of years ago, I needed to find a new First Aid provider. Last year I updated my CPR and more recently my First Aid/CPR this month. Kym is an engaging and knowledgeable presenter/teacher and makes the classes interesting and relevant. He shares his passion and experience with an open heart and has a caring and kind nature that is able to connect with students from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. As an added bonus there are therapy dogs that attend the classes!

NFA The administration staff were so helpful from start to finish thank you. The training room clean, mannequins and training material spotless.
Kym’s training both theory and practical well balanced he was very easy to understand and able to answer questions without hesitation (excellent and very experienced trainer) I would highly recommend NFA for all levels of first aid training.

Exceptionally high quality training delivered by competent and professional facilitators with great experience in the industry. Highly recommend National First Aid for personal, volunteer or vocational first aid training.

First Aid update in Dec 21 was excellent. Updated my knowledge without undue repetition of stuff already familiar. Was great to have sufficient mannequins for everyone. In all three sizes - adult, adolescent and baby.
Lots of pertinent anecdotes drawn from Kym's wealth of experience. Topped with some film clips including a trainer having a real heart attack. Can't top that!

Thoroughly enjoyed the day and found the information very helpful. The real-life videos demonstrated what it's like to be actually confronted with an incident, whether that be a heart attack or accident of some sort. Kym's anecdotes were educational, entertaining and sometimes amusing, and kept us all engaged.
But Buddy really stole the show, of course!

Thoroughly enjoyed the session, Kym has a wide range of knowledge that he has acquired through his very impressive and extensive experiences. We were not bombarded with information after information which avoided us being overwhelmed, and the conversation flowed and everyone felt comfortable to contribute and ask questions. Kym also provided us all with a little textbook of his own compilation of first aid information and we also met the friendliest dog ever, Buddy. Couldn't recommend him enough!

Great course, I feel much more confident in providing first aid in emergencies and performing CPR and using a defibrillator. Kym was a great instructor and we loved having Buddy the therapy dog helping during the class.

Was a very informative session with better insight that other courses I have attended in the past.
Lots of real life stories were brought into the conversation which helped cement some of the principles of First Aid responding.

Many thanks to Kym and Buddy!

I thoroughly enjoyed & highly recommend the National First Aid training course with trainer, Kym Eden. Kym has such thorough & in-depth knowledge in this field, & many years of experience, which was apparent through his course delivery approach. His video clips, anecdotes & meeting Buddy (pup in training) was a refreshing change & added that extra 'something' that makes this course stand out from the rest! I will be coming back here to renew my certificates, thankyou Kym!

The first aid courses organised by National First Aid for our business were customised to our industry needs and presented professionally by Dianne and Sandy
Both presenters were knowledgeable, personable, and meticulous trainers
The theory and practical components were well balanced, and the before and after course assistance provided by Kym Eden and the support staff was above and beyond expectations and very much appreciated
Thank you National First Aid
The organisation’s work ethic is exceptional

This course was excellent! It far exceeded my expectations on many levels. First of all Kym Eden (our trainer) is an exceptional person as well as a most professional trainer with such a depth and breadth of knowledge and first hand experience with more than 25 years as an ambulance paramedic. He also has a very down to earth, easy to relate to style of training which makes for a very conducive learning environment. He not only wrote the book "Fun with First Aid" (now in its 18th edition) but he teaches first aid and CPR to children of all ages. The course was a good balance of theory and practical segments that were delivered in a fun but professional manner and achieved maximum input and involvement from all participants. Most of us have done these courses before but this is the most informative, most enjoyable First Aid & CPR course I have had the benefit of attending. I highly recommend Kym and National First Aid.

I have recommended National First Aid to many of my friends and colleagues. Kym's experience, videos and stories were of great value in helping me understand First Aid and giving me confidence in administering it. His relaxed approach made learning easy and the way he focussed on CPR with stories and videos as well as practical experience was very useful. Interactive participation supported learning. I had confidence that Kym knew what he was talking about and believed in our ability to do what was needed at the time. Helen Smallwood

I attended training for the Advanced First Aid Certificate. I found Kym to be extremely knowledgeable and presented the course to the cohort with real-life examples that facilitated an engaging and informative training session. National First Aid is an RTO of enthusiastic staff whose focus is delivering quality training in an industry that they are all passionate about. I would recommend National First Aid to anyone in the Bayside SE suburbs as there can never be enough qualified First Aid people around us.

Kym was brilliant. I attended for my First Aid/CPR refresher course at National First Aid and was very surprised by the style of learning that Kym presented. Kym has a wealth of knowledge from being a paramedic and was able to educate us through his real life experiences. Highly recommend.
