National Celtic Festival reviews
7Im a volunteer at the national Celtic festival and it was a fantastic few days. Lots of great shows and bands. Cant wait until next years festival.
I love this festival! Perfectly located, well-organised and supported by a fabulous community of dedicated volunteers. There is nowhere I'd rather be on the June long weekend than in Portarlington, celebrating Celtic music and culture. I always leave feeling energised and inspired.
My wife and I have been attending The National Celtic Festival for a number of years and can't speak too highly of it. A fabulous location, great quality national and international artists, and a very friendly and helpful team of workers and organisers all combine to make it an event we look forward to with eagerness. Highly recommended!
Wonderful festival that I have been to for the last 10 years. Would highly recommend for the massive amount of music and talent that is on display
Excellent festival, very well-organised - loved the 'reduced rubbish' initiative and fabulous performers!
Such a great atmosphere. Spaces to experience the essence of the festival for little or no cost. Full tickets spaces for full immersion. Get your Celtic fix each year. Queens Birthday long weekend in June.
A great little festival in a great little town. Ideal location on a hill next to the Bay, right in the middle of town, generally with a few stand-out international acts each year and scores of local artists. Sound bleed between stages is an issue, and sound mixing is often not really up to scratch for the quality of the artists. Overall though, this festival, which runs on a shoestring, is a highlight at this time of year. Don't forget your winter woollies though!
