Narai Thai Balwyn Restaurant

Genuinely one if the best curries Ive had in Melbourne. Very reasonably priced with good serving sizes. We got the Green curry and Massaman Curry, both could be made vegan!
My new go-to restaurant!

Tom kha soup (seafood), roti bread w/peanut dipping sauce, and coconut rice.

High flavours in the food.

I ordered entrees, so it was entrees size no small.

Service was quick.

Authentic Thai in Balwyn is run and owned by Thailand people.

There is another Thai shop in Balwyn "Sopa" it's based in a carpark it's a mixed business English cheese cakes premade food in takeaway with no dates run and owned by a Irish man Sopa looks like a casino.

If you want Thai in Balwyn go to Narai Thai.

Bland tasteless food, no flavour whatsoever and not even a hint of authentic thai.very disappointing

Due to the response from the restaurant I would like to add that there was a table of us and all of the dishes were found to be tasteless and lacking even basic flavours.

Incredibly accommodating and hospitable team who made special arrangements before our arrival, whist there the food we ate was magnificent. Strongly recommend.

Excellent Thai food.still. Our most recent visit confirmed previous thoughts. Spring rolls, fish cakes and chicken satay good starters. Green curry and 'wild' ginger fish terrific.but pad Thai rather skimpy in quantity. Can do better with this dish. Nice roti.

Excellent food and quick service. We've eaten here and had takeaway and both have been perfect.

We ordered on Uber right on 5pm (as we have toddlers) and found the food didn’t match these reviews. It was tasty, but flavor just wasn’t there. Pad Thai looked a bit sad with little sauce, not a lot of taste.

Lovely food well presented, reasonably priced and tastes delicious. Warm and friendly staff and atmosphere, service is great. A most enjoyable dining experience!

Couldn't fault our dine in experience. Everything was delicious and service was attentive and friendly. Not too busy on a Friday night. Garlic and pepper pork was a standout along with the chicken satay.
