Narai Classic Thai Restaurant reviews
31Food was amazing & best of all, they had a great range & understanding of gluten free for my coeliac husband.
Pad Thai is amaaaaazing. It has what appear to be pickled onions in it, which you wouldn’t think would be good but really make the dish. Order it every time!
Cheapest price for Thai food in the area, yet the food is very tasty. Atmosphere is good. Servers are friendly and efficient.
Had a banquet for $45 ph we were a group of 14 got 1/2 pot of rice per 4 grown men 2 pieces of beef in the stir fry portions were only for 2 people not 4 - banana fritters were cut into 3 and 1 scoop of ice cream per 4 people and to top it off were asked to leave by 9.30pm on a Saturday night! DO NOT Recommend!
Food was authentic Thai. The serving was a little on the small side, but the pad Thai chicken was very tasty.
Great food and not overly priced. Would definitely recommend a visit, I'll be returning with the family especially as they have a robot waiter the grandkids will love it
Fantastic Thai food, loved the papaya salad, the yellow lamb curry, the pad thai, and the duck spring rolls. The robot waiter was an interesting feature too.
Very slow service. There was only two tables and we were waiting for at least 15 minutes to order. The pad Thai was okay, the chicken had a light taste of vinegar which I didn’t specifically like.
Been to Narai a few times. My last time on 12 August evening was disappointing with the Massaman Curry severely undercooked so the beef was so tough it was inedible. The curry was very watery and taste was not genuine. We took a video to show how watery and thin the curry was it was but can only put a photo here. Pad thai was okay but not as good as usual. Quality has gone down over time and will be visiting other Thai places nearby instead
The food was really good, the kids loved seeing the robot serving our meals, but cleanliness could be better.
We ordered take away last night. When we got it home it was as if we ordered soup, there was no substance in any of the dishes. The tofu and vegetables had almost no tofu, the duck consisted of about four small pieces swimming in a thin sauce, the salmon was a solid lump with separate thin sauce the same as for the duck. The take away menu typeface is so small I couldn't read it and the waitresses were very grumpy and rude.
My favourite Thai place. Had a subpar dish the other day, but I’m convinced that’s a blip. Go on weekends when it’s busy and the food is bussing.
We had the banquet here and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh and tasty, and we had such a great selection of dishes. The staff were absolutely lovely as well. A great dinner out!
Love this place! Food and hospitality is amazing. The team went out of their way and opened up earlier to cater for our Mother's Day lunch last year and this year! Thank you!:)
Best Thai on the North side. I can't go past the Duck curry, it is so good I get cravings if i go too long without it. The tom yum soup is dark and flavorful.
My number one choice for take out.
Really great food. Loved the Tom yum fried rice, larb and pad kee mao. Super fresh and clean flavours.
Surprisingly bad. Pad Thai was flavourless and Pad Ke Mau was over flavoured. Both lacking refinement.
Dine here at Narai Thai on a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. Loved the options on the menu and we decided to try their chef recommended options. The dishes were well presented and we really enjoyed the food. Started off with entrees and had the fried chicken wings and the potato swirl prawns. The crispy pork belly dish was amazing and we loved it.
The dishes were served quite quickly and the service is great. Definitely recommend this spot when you're in the area
A different yet extremely irresistible Thai feast @naraiclassicthai is bound to make you fall in love with this place.
The flavor meets creativity here, which is sure to please any foodie. Yes there are also classic Thai curries besides the unique, signature and tasty appetizers and desserts.
What we had:
Potato string prawns, an impossibly delectable entree, that's crunchy on the outside and so soft from the inside.
Peking Duck Spring Rolls, the filling is so mouth watering, making the spring rolls so tempting.
Yello Curry Lamb with rice, creamy, mouth melting yellow thai curry, with succulent lamb pieces and crispy shredded carrot on top, makes it absolutely divine.
Pad Cha Seafood, served sizzling hot, and is immensely flavorsome and delicious that's full of prawns, fresh veggies.
Pineapple fritters, crunchy outler layer, with a tangy pineapple filling in the inside. Served hot with ice-cream. The yummy taste of it, is absolutely to die for.
Mixed berry crepes, foodies with sweet tooth, might not wanna share this filling berry crepes with anyone else, since it's too hard to resist.
Midori splice cocktail, tangy, refreshing yet not too intense cocktail.
Moreover, the vibe of this place is so cozy and comforting, besides their friendly team of staff. The service is swift and the prices are so pocket friendly. Guys definitely checkout this place after lockdown @naraiclassicthai you'll be highly satisfied with the quality and the taste of their appetizers, mains, drinks and desserts
We were kindly invited to Narai Classic Thai for a delicious Thai feast. We started with their Northern Thai sausages which were bursting with flavour and spices, as well as their son-in-law eggs with tamarind sauce - they were so addictive that I wanted more! Mains were beef massaman curry and charcoal grilled pork. The beef was so tender and the curry was rich and comforting. It was amazing to eat with the fragrant coconut rice. The grilled pork was tender and flavourful with a bit of the smokey char from the grill. For dessert we finished with a classic fried banana with ice cream and whipped cream. The batter on the banana was light and crunchy and dessert was a sweet end to the night. Thank you Narai Classic Thai for having us!
