I thought I was doing the right thing.
Covid-19 has made it hard for a lot of people to do and see what they want. I was video-calling my girlfriend in store which the owners picked up on, I apologised and asked permission to continue calling her and showing items she might like. Not 15 minutes later I offered to leave after the owners became hostile that I was looking at a particular piece of furniture that was sold that I had mistaken as for sale. I always admired this store for going on for so long but never would have guessed really poor service and lack of compassion. Really nice products and wares though.a silver lining I guess!

I purchased 2 x sets of new chesterfield chairs and couldn't be happier. Great to deal with, extremely helpful and great communication.

Warehouse style shop with a wide range of mostly secondhand furniture and bric a brac. Some amazing antiques, some cool quirky finds and some general second hand stuff.

Nannymoos has a wonderful selection of vintage and antique furniture, as well as interesting curios. The customer service is exceptional. Definitely recommend a visit.

A little treasure in a modern world. Lots of little rooms, nooks and crannies to go through and discover. A mixture of traditional antiques, vintage and more modern giftwares. Drop in next time you are on plenty road and discover it for yourself

Decided to request a refund of chairs purchased when it became clear in conversation they were darker in colour than the photo presented on eBay and website.
They agreed to refund chairs purchased but refusing to refund $100 (27%) of the cost. Changing story as to reason for retaining $100, alternatively for loosing ‘likes’, then for delivery, even though all that had been done was put the chairs on the truck, now for no reason at all. Suspect that the real reason is that the $100 delivery fee is not recorded in eBay. I had requested the delivery cost be recorded in eBay, but they insisted it not be due to ‘eBay fees and charges’.
Further more claimed that a credit card refund could only be done in person, as a PIN was required. When I explained that this was factually incorrect, changed the reason to ‘not policy’.
Refusing to refund any money except in person, even though purchase made on eBay, and payment was by phone. Offering ‘exchange’ but not for the full amount.
The chairs are currently for sale on their website even though I have no sight of any refund, let alone a full refund.
I am able to provide proof of all of this.
I recommend avoiding this seller, also found on eBay as ‘Chesterfield-Heaven’.

As I’ve stated I can prove all of the information in my feedback, therefore it is not defamation. Implying I am a ‘scammer’ is however defamation.
They agreed to a refund when the request was made. But demanded to retain $100 of the cost. They have given a variety of reasons for this, the most reason given is non refund of the delivery fee. But no delivery service was provided. All that was done was putting the chairs on a truck. Nothing more.
First they claimed a refund couldn’t be done over the phone because a PIN is required (it isn’t, you just press Enter or OK when a PIN is requested). Then they claimed it was against policy (no such policy on their website). Now they’re claiming its because verification that the card refunded is the one the purchase was made with can only be done in person (at least I think that’s what they’re claiming!). Also obviously incorrect, the card number (sighted or verbal) is matched with the digits shown on the credit card receipt, and Nannymoos still have the receipt.
