Nando's Essendon Airport

Shoutout to Praveen for providing great customer service. I visited this branch twice and both times he was great.

Usual tasty Nandoes, however the only available table I had was right against the wash basin and was subject to spray from people washing their hands, guest realized and were careful bur suggest moving it.

Over charged me got the wrong order the food didn’t even taste like nandos i’m disgusted my perinase was sour the chicken wasn’t cooked properly this is not ok

The staff are helpful and friendly. The set up of the restaurant is pretty small inside and sometimes if its busy there isn't enough plates and cutlery. I guess because the staff are busy keeping all the orders coming out on time and they cant do everything at once. They could do with more plates and cutlery on offer to deal with peak periods. Overall a good nandos though thanks for keeping me well fed!

Burgers are big and filling. BBQ ribs are awesome along with proper smokey, flame grilled chicken. All tasted amazing.

Slow service. Missing items. Smaller than usual portions. No help from the staff when approached. Would recommend going elsewhere.

Food is good albeit small servings.
20 mins from ordering until food arrived, but it was during a busy time.

Ordered a halloumi wrap and it was super fresh and fast service arrived within 10mins of ordering. The owner also came to check to make sure our meals were good and if we needed anything else too which was great customer service. Looking forward to my next visit.

Went there on Monday. Chicken was neither freshly made nor cooked properly. Not even sauce on chicken.

Ordered food and an hour and a half later it still hasn't left the store. What kind of a joke establishment are you running

Food is good however Everytime I come to this nandos (usually 2-3 times per week during work break) there are wait times of over 30 minutes, they always seem to be understaffed and is a big inconvenience when I want to grab a quick bite to eat. I always give them the benefit of the doubt however today was where I draw the line. I had placed an online order 15mins before I arrived to the store and my food was still not ready and I still had to wait another 15mins until the food came out. Definitely not worth coming back as there are other quicker options

Awesome place to get some consistency. Grilled chicken is always grilled to perfection. Bit of delays during lunch rush, but understandable with current staffing issues or shortages that being experienced in the industry. Keep up the good work!

Worst nandos i ever visit i bought a hole peri chicken for 20$ and chicken was completely burned really disappointe never visit this place again.

I like the nando's sauce on my chicken when I cook it - good flavours, but this shop needs a lot of changes if they want to stay in business. Chicken was black, dry and tough. Diarrhoea kicked in 24hrs later for both me and the mrs, but I suppose you can't expect much better when you have qualified dish washers controlling stock and manning the grill. Floor staff rude & arrogant, demeanour as if they are working at a fine dining restaurant, they are better than you.lol. Owner needs to remind staff It's nando's in essendon fields, not vue de monde on collins street. I wouldn't even classify it as a restaurant tbh considering the amount of microwaving taking place to plate up an order. It really is just a fast food franchise serving take away chicken.badly.owner might consider employing at the very least a qualified cook for the dinner service, and perhaps take a business course themself. Learn how to run a business properly, in particular customer service and food handling. I owned a successful actual restaurant for 15 years, my staff were very welcoming and professional. Staff attitudes generally mirror the owners/managers, so no doubt the problems will remain. People that buy food franchise businesses generally have no idea about business and absolutely no creativity when it comes to cooking, which is why they use someone elses brand and menu hoping to make a dollar. They are not restauranteurs in any sense of the word. Why anyone would choose to be arrogant about that is beyond me but good luck to you, we won't be back.

Really disappointing. Was difficult to be served, waited a long time and everyone working genuinely looked like they didnt want to be there. My husband's chicken was so tough he could only cut through half.
Rarely write reviews but qlways good to provide feedback when improvement is needed.

Average food, sitting area is limited, customer service should improve, so should staffs communication with delivery pickup staff as I noticed they don't pay much attention.
Treat everyone with respect.

Customer service lady- Mervyn or similar a total rude and someone who didnt even apppeared welcoming.
Very disappointed- asked for mild sauce and was given 1 x small like 5-7ml tubs even though other nandos are providing bottles such as chadstone.

1 small 5ml tub of sauce for 2 people who are having 2 x meals and with chips. And when asked for extra tub the look she gave was horrible. The guys at the back of the store who we’re cooking we’re very nice and they have us extra when we asked them. Food was nice.

Somebody who cares about the business must remove this girl and get someone who welcomes people who want to spend money and specially when in the restaurant there was no one!

We have been a customer of this store for many years now but tonight's take away order was terrible. We ordered 2 x Superfuel salads with chicken and half a chicken on the side. When we got home we found hardly ANY salad at all! Come on guys, if people are spending nearly $16 for a salad, the least you can do is give them a decent portion. I only managed to find 1 piece of avocado and 2 cherry tomatoes. Even the lettuce was minimal. I feel ripped off!

Disappointing, didn't receive what I ordered. When I pointed it out to the waiter she wouldn't do anything about it. Easier to communicate with a monkey.
