Went for birthday party. Location is lit. Ambience inside is great. Clean and tidy.
Service is great. Boys were very good.
Food was good and could get better. Few things were amazing and some lack little.

Overall great place to visit. Will go back for sure.

We visited from Sydney and found this place through a map Search. Friendly staff, great location and reasonably priced. Food was generally ok, though we thought some of the food lacked the depth of flavours we typically find in an Indian Restaurant. The place is under new management and you can tell the new owners are keen to make an impression.

Amazing place! Went for dinner there and had a fabulous time. Food was so fresh, so yummy. Staff was very polite and came to check twice if we were enjoying the food. Highly recommend this place.

5 Indian spicy dishes specially cooked to my preference, on Chapel Street. All dishes offered here were simply gorgeous.

Food (vegetarian) menu was different. There was no kaali daal available on that day, which is the first time we have ever come across in an Indian restaurant. There was no prior notice given as we had booked a few days in advance. The kaali daal is what we mainly went there for!
Food contained less salt than usual, which i guess is not a bad thing.

I tried this place for the first time last week as always walked past it and it looked delicious. Let me say I was not disappointed! It was so good that I have been twice now in not even a week and will definitely be a regular now. The staff member serving is always friendly and helpful and the food comes out quickly. Very good service and food!

1 hour wait for takeaway last night, kept telling us it would be another 5-10 mins. They refused us a refund when we asked after 50 minutes. Front of house badly understaffed, the single employee was having a terrible time (as were the other diners) and the kitchen staff pretty horrible to him. Then we got short-changed a curry and they won't give me a refund

Also the food is only average, pretty sure these reviews are fake

Fantastic food with some great wine. Saag and butter chicken fantasic, even the fish curry was bomb.

I am giving an extra star just for the presentation and ambience. The food was great, if you want to try authentic north Indian food, you can visit once here, good hospitality overall we like it

Been a huge lover of Indian food for over 40 years, dining in or getting take aways regularly and this is the best Indian food I have EVER had, our party of 6 people all agreed! The balance/use of the obviously fresh spices, herbs and chillies was spot on, with every mouthful so full of flavour! The lamb cutlets, lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka, samosas and even the the light, fluffy saffron rice were all to die for, in fact, none of us could fault a single item. A lovely place with excellent attentive service with a smile and very reasonable prices! We will all, most definitely, be back! Thank-you Namak.

We love to eat Indian food all over the world and Namak is truly authentic and genuine Indian food. It was so good we missed to take a photo and I can only show you our empty plates. If you love Indian food this is a must go to place. They have Indo China dishes and we had the chilli chicken that was super nice. Also tried that Mango Lassi and it was superb. Thank you Namak for a wonderful food experience.

The food was mouthwatering specially the pakistani style chicken handi and the daal bhukara to be honest everything was on time and front staff served very well and they were too friendly.

If you want really well done North Indian food you must visit Namak. Their butter chicken was authentic, right pieces of chicken with the right flavours of the sauce. The starters were delightful, we had the Papadi Chaat and the Seekh Kebabs as well as the Chilli Chicken. All of which had the right flavours and levels of spice. Glad we found this place.

Excellent quality and ambiance. Indian food in Namak is amazing. I hesitate to give a huge, glowing review based on one visit, but if the second visit is anything like the first, I'll go to 5 stars. I had the chicken karahi and my wife had the Dal tadka and it was all extremely tasty. Pleasant, attentive staff. Loved it!

Please keep in mind to ask the person to make it Indian spicy if thats what you like.

Went to the restaurant with a group of 15 people. The food was delicious and the service was good.

I'm surprised this place wasn't busier - the food was really nice & the service was good. The best thing we had was murgh tikka (chicken). Atmosphere is nice and the suede chairs are so comfy. Will be back:)

And in a staff there is suraj who served food is also nice man its too busy that day but he served with smiley face.
