Idk other things but the service here to start Woking things are not clear and they gets bit too personal which is not suppose to happen and is offensive.
I’m a NZ & a big eater but the first time I ate at Najimi was back in 2017 with my wife & last time I was there was 2019.
-
Tonight we ate our usual dinner from Najimi after 3 years which was Qaboli Polo - Shank for $25
-
And my wife got her Sheer Yakh - Ice cream for $10
-
Still taste delicious from 2017 till now. Price has gone up a bit but still worth it.
LOL to the guy that still works there that never smile bahaha thank you my Afghan brada

Had no time to take a fancy photo but look at the size of the shank, nearly the same size as my forearm
The flavour was good, but what we got was too different from the menu picture (Sheer Yakh). I was a little bit disappointed that this amount of ice cream for $10, when for $10 you can get 2-3 scoops at a nice gelato shop.
For a fussy person like me who wants to eat authentic Kabuli pulao with rice cooked with the stew, not just boiled rice. Very tasty and good size lamb shank.
Had the falooda served in a plate. It was more like ice cream over the noodles topped with some chopped cashews. 'Creamy' taste was missing from the Ice cream
The only one star I give is for desert not for the food. I hope they change their mind this is jot how to run a food business but offering a better quality of mix kebab not salty and fresh meat. I also got disappointed with overcharged price for extra rice plate for $12 which is not stated in menu. So don’t assume extra rice will cost you $5 like every restaurant and unfortunately the rice was pretty undercooked and so much oily. Don’t recommend here until they change their mind to offer a high quality of kebab and rice.
Wow! My taste buds were in paradise! I don't eat lamb so I can only speak about the chicken kebab which was so tender and full of flavour. This was my second time trying out Afghan food, and will definitely come back for more. It was a very satisfying dinner! Staff were also great.
