N. Lee Bakery Cafe reviews
52Best Vietnamese Bun in Melbourne. Super fresh, well priced, and tastes great The pork belly perfect not greasy like some. Worth going out of your way for. Love the buns. $26 - one tea, one coffee, one muffin and on z pork Belly bun.
Racist staff the woman with the large hairdo has an attitude issue. Please avoid this cafe let's not promote racism in Australia
Their bahn mi are sooooo good! I ordered the crispy pork crackling and it was the best one I have ever had.
Great quality Banh Mi and very good size but a bit more expensive than I recall.
$17.80 for a sandwich and orange juice.
Crackling pork bahn mi was fantastic! So much flavour, not too sweet like the ones from Kenny's Bakery.
The cafe is situated in a convenient and accessible location, making it easy for customers to visit.

Overall, I highly recommend N Lee Baker Cafe to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food, staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, parking, prices, interior, surroundings, and transport options all make this cafe a top choice in the area.
Great roll, crispy, freshly baked and not dense.
Generous mayo butter and pate.
Salad is well dressed with sauce and seasonings.
Spilling over with meat (filling of choice).
All is well balanced and satisfying!
Some might be unimpressed with the price, but dare you to find a more generously filled bahn mi.
Probably the Best Cafe and Sandwich in Melbourne, in my humble opinion. Ordered the Chicken Feast #1 Focacia and never a let down. A must visit Cafe whenever I am in Melbourne.
A great little cafe with wholesome family energy! The Bahn mi was perfect and Vietnamese iced coffee nice and strong, not too sweet. We had a great experience here
Solid banh mi at a reasonable price.
Had the roasted pork banh mi. It was good.
Priced at around $10/banh mi.
Best pork roll I’ve ever had! Crackling was amazing, price reasonable, roll crispy and delicious!
Used to really like this place but now would not recommend. Staff have become very rude and the quality of food has dropped significantly
Best banh mi in CBD and inner city! The bread is also soft and flaky but not too flaky. Fillings are delicious and just the right amount of sauce. Super smashable!
Really polite staff, fresh food & they make a killer hot chocolate! However there is often a long queue simply because the service can be very slow. Even when there has only been one customer in front of me, it can take 15 or so minutes to receive my food, and that is with two staff behind the counter (though I have noticed 1 staff member is almost always sitting down on their phone). I just avoid this place if I see more than a couple of people inside, it's just not worth the wait.
The place is gross, the counter top was covered in used vegetables from previous customers, which was then picked up and put in my baguette!?
The Banh Mi's are absolutely delicious at this place - although the prices are quite high compared to other bakeries. You pay for what you get I guess.
Can’t imagine this is N Lee, I had the best banhmi in N Lee Collingwood. But this place is nothing like that: the service was bad, they refused to sell chicken pate, but I bought it from N Lee Collingwood. I ordered chicken with chilli and tofu, no chilli and tofu at all. The banhmi was not like what I had in Collingwood, the bread was cold.
Very disappointed. Will never ever go to this N Lee again!
Never ever have I had a banh mi.yes I know what I have been missing out on now! Got both the pork belly and the bbq pork banh mi and so glad I did, packed with flavor and so fresh! Definitely recommend this place!
Love the crispy pork belly banh mi! Will queue up happily, but having stood in the queue outside for 10 mins and then another 10 or so inside, I definitely think there is room for improvement in the efficiency/timeliness factor. This does not in any way stop me from queuing.but I just would like some of my lunch break left to eat the deliciousness!: -P
Served cold chicken schnitzel roll.
They assured me that it had just come out and was hot enough.
Won't be returning.
