Stopped here a few times and it’s never impressed me much.
This visit was Friday grand final public holiday. They were busy but we were served pretty quick.
Pie was warm at best but just edible, coffee was undrinkable. Cherry tart wasn’t to bad.
Given the lack of choice in Myrtleford, this is about as good as it gets

This place was so good, pastries pies and spinach ricotta roll was so yum, my wife loved the hot chocolate from here, during our stay at Myrtelford we came here every day.

A sunny Sunday lunchtime, snow season.anf this place was one of a couple of cafes that was open!

The staff worked like a well oiled machine. The service was fantastic. More to the point, the food was outstanding.

The semi enclosed footpath dining area was a refuge from the chill wind.and the heater was great.

A "must do", next time we are in town.

Parking. On street only.
Access is via the door on the corner, and it has a small step up into the bakery. Same thing for the semi enclosed footpath area. So wheelchair users need to near this in mind. If you have a BIG scooter style wheels, there are tables on the other side if the door, as you wont fit through. Regular wheelchairs will have no problem.

A very good country bakery with a wide range of baked goods and sandwiches. The pies and donuts are good. Ample seating, including a protected terrace. Fast and friendly service.

A Gastronomic Gem: Myrtleford Bakehouse Bakery

Rating:

If you're in search of a delightful bakery that accomplishes more than just satisfying your sweet tooth, Myrtleford Bakehouse should be at the top of your list.

From the moment we entered, we were greeted with a symphony of tantalizing smells that promised more than your ordinary bakery fare. The wide range of products spanning from their freshly baked bread to their irresistible sweet treats is nothing short of impressive.

A personal favorite was their extensive selection of pies and pasties, each one baked to perfection and stuffed with quality ingredients to create a heart-warming medley of flavors. While it's impossible to choose a standout from their amazing collection, the egg and bacon roll certainly left a lasting impression. The perfect balance of a well-cooked egg, crispy bacon, and a standout feature - their relish, gave this simple yet fulfilling meal an edge. It was exactly what was needed to start the day right.

Besides their splendid food, what sets Myrtleford Bakehouse Bakery apart from others is its staff. They are a team of fabulous, hardworking individuals who shower you with warm smiles and make you feel welcomed. Their dedication to their craft is visible in the quality of food they serve, which not only tastes divine but also looks aesthetically pleasing.

In conclusion, Myrtleford Bakehouse Bakery is a place where great food meets excellent service. It's not just a bakery; it's an experience that you should not miss. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor passing through, one thing is certain: venturing into Myrtleford Bakery is a decision you'll never regret.

Bakery is a highlight of Myrtleford, their coffee is impeccable and the food is fresh, the shelves are always full up with a variety of savoury and sweet snacks to get you through the day. *WARNING* you may find yourself in there too much after the initial visit.

Good customer service, except one person asked if he could help and then started serving someone else before we could let him know what we wanted

Was in Myrtleford for a day visit, just doing a day drive, really. We dropped in here order a yummy latte to go, and I tried the beesting. It was fresh, yummy, soft, and messy but sooooo good. I would recommend visiting. Was spacious inside as there is no inside seating, only limited seats outside around the shop front, which is on a corner. Or there are small parks a few steps away where you can sit in lovely green grass and enjoy the shade. Was busy when we went and the staff were young but friendly enough. Good food options to choose from.

Not great constantly asking the staff member to speak up while another insisted on sweeping around my feet won't be returning

There are a lot of bakeries in the Ovens Valley. Many of them have spectacular locations and external appeal. Glorious banners and big signs.

The Myrtleford Bakehouse is an unassuming and anything but gaudy bakery whose work speaks for itself. Located right on the main drag through town, I'd forgive you for seeing it and driving by.

Inside, the bakery is somewhat plain, but definitely not boring - more to the point, I'd say.

Their baked goods are second to none in the valley. The spinach and feta roll is phenomenal with a touch of chili and a deep flavour profile that punches the palate. The vegetable pasties have a flaky, buttery pastry that is a divine mouth experience. Their pies on offer are fresh and diverse, ranging from potato pies to curry pies to plain Jane beef.

Their coffee is also on point. A complete sleeper of a coffee joint, if you want to skip queues at the cafes in town and get a high quality coffee (with a doughnut, maybe?) then this is the place to go.

As a local, this is our preferred bakery. You will love it as much as we do.

My partner and I rode the 30km from Bright on pretty average bikes just to get another pie from here, worth all the saddle soreness.

Open early on the weekends. A great variety of bakery food. Fresh milk is available too. Friendly staff. Cheaper than bakeries in the metro area. I bought 10 items and only cost me $38.
