TERRIBLE, overpriced drinks, staff are rude and clearly don't like their jobs. They are not cheerful nor interested in Customer service. The food was very good but could of provided more options.

Service and staff were great and the food was amazing! This was especially during a peak time on a nice summers night. The salad was the closest thing I will have to a proper Greek salad like they are in Greece. They weren’t tight on the feta like most other ‘Greek’ restaurants around and used proper amount of oil. Is it a bit of a reach to ask for more bread or pita to dip in the oil at the bottom of the salad? Haha. The meat was perfectly marinated and cooked, melted in my mouth. Everything in this image was perfect, can’t fault anything. Definitely will be coming back here again and would recommend to anyone coming down to Oakleigh for dinner or lunch.

Very creatively arranged the tables in a way that you will feel like you are in one of the restaurants in Greece. Loved the slow cooked lamb with salad and chips. Meat was exceptionally tender and yummy. Service was excellent and explained the menu with love and passion. Thank you for the yummy food and the cool ambience.

I am GREEK! And this is a TRUE GREEK Restaurant from authentic beautiful Greek people! If you need beautiful Greek food seriously this is the place! Thank you guys! I will 100% be back! The place is absolutely stunning! I felt like I was truly in a street in Mykonos! ️

Discovered this place just a few weeks ago and been there a few times already. It is absolutely wonderful, have told all my friends about it.
Amazing food, friendly staff, the owner is just one of a kind. So wonderful and generous.
Food was to die for and the cocktails were even better, we had a fair few cocktails and lots of food but the bill was very reasonable and a lot less than what we expected. Thank you for making our night!

So much potential as it has nicest decor in Oakleigh. Very sadly food and service need to improve. Lamb cutlets are 4 for $30 and are smallest I have seen and soaked in oil. Service took no attention to guests.

I was actually excited to go to this restaurant. How disappointing. Waited over 20mins before we had to call a waiter over just to order a drink!
I attempted to order a cocktail from the menu & the waitress said “no cocktails”!
There was a group of us for my dads birthday, his meal came out first and then ours followed 15 mins later with the waiter then rudely saying “ok so who ordered what? !? ”
Our food was cold, meat was too salty. The description didn’t match what I received.
The menu had grilled octopus.it was literally pickled octopus from a jar! Calamari was the frozen sort that you deep fry. Even my drink was watery!
I would not recommend anyone waste there money unless a huge improvement is made. Rude staff & terrible food. I really did not want to write a review as restaurant has surely been closed for months with the pandemic however honestly it ruined my dads birthday.

I am Greek Cypriot and although I don’t look it. I love my food. Firstly Haris Alexiou was playing as soon as I walked in. ️️ The food was tasty, delicious, large servings, white tarama, chicken is on the coal, staff are on point, owners hospitable and on the floor engaging and wine list is simple but on point. Thank-you for a beautiful evening. X

You will be transported to Mykonos the moment you enter this authentic Greek restaurant. The décor is beautiful, and the food is incredible! The grilled meat platter is excellent, with a wonderful great charred flavour, I love to have it with some of their dips on the side. If you are going, make sure you order the charred octopus which is always tender and bursting with flavour. Still thinking about it now. I highly recommend because the service is always friendly, and the food never disappoints which is why I have been a repeat customer since it opened.

Really upsetting evening.one that we will not forget for the wrong reasons.besides taking 2-3 hours for meals to arrive.the attitude of the staff was unbelievable! We arrived at 7: 30pm, 2 weeks just before Christmas, ordered our meals, the starters came out reasonably fast. This is where the pleasantness of the night ended. I must say that the food is quite okay if comparing to the same Greek restaurants in the area that serve mostly the same regular tavern dishes.however, nothing extraordinary other than the zucchini chips & it is pricey for souvlaki meat on a plate. Then we waited & waited. Around 9: 45pm we enquired about when the rest of the shared meals were coming out, we’re a group of 12 people. The owner came out and we asked again, it was 10pm & watched how other patrons that came in after us were being served all their meals. The owner, an over bearing man started unapologetically antagonising. ’where else do you think you will go now to find food? He asked with sarcasm.go to Oakleigh Mall, he challenged us.if you like and try and get food there now’. This how you treat customers? I think not.his taunting & sarcasm did not stop there! You have lost this repeat business.we left with a very bad taste in our mouths!

Went to Mykonos Oakleigh a few days ago and will never go back, mainly because they dont really follow the covid rules in place and food leaves a lot to be desired.we had been a year before and thought give it another go but no improvement at all. The place was packed with people and certainly no distancing in place. As patrons moved thru restaurant no masks were worn, only by staff. The meat was over cooked and dry, won’t be back again or recommend to anyone. Also the sign in for Covid contact should be in a better position as we didn’t sign in, just taken straight to table so no contact details left. No wonder virus is spread. The management seemed too complacent

Where do I even start, from the moment this taverna opened up, it brough a side to Oakliegh that you could only find in Greece, from the traditional greek food that not only tastes divine but brings in the flavour of everything greek but also to the entertainment and settings that the owners provide which bring in the hospitality and kindness you experience when your in Mykonos and all over Greece. Sylvia I cant thank you enough for yesterdays dinner and for every event and occasion I have ever had there regardless of how busy it was the moment the food hit our table it was like being back in Greece and still till this day the best Greek food I have ever had (coming from someone who has tried almost every Greek restaraunt in the state)! Seeing your husband work to make every meal as authentic as he can should be the one of the many reasons that people need to come and visit.

Yemista we had was bland and not at all flavourful. Only thing we enjoyed was the Zucchini chips. Seems almost like a different restaurant from what it used to be.
