Mixed bag with My Direct Blinds. I can’t argue about the delivery timeframe as I was generally informed throughout the process. A friend handled first order of 4 pvc shutters for me. Be aware it will be 3 months or more from order date to full delivery, e.g. 17/9/23 to 2/1/24. Also their carrier (according to them) has twice now damaged blinds in two orders I have had with them. Completely bent track in most recent one and tyre marks of all things on first order. They replaced the tyre damaged shutter after a couple of months. Second instance, I was offered replacement of the bent track that shouldn’t take as long as original order timeframe. And if you have a long window you’ll have to expect damage, quoted from Aaron’s reply they do their best packing but “unfortunately all carrier companies tend to damage longer length goods, there is a very high damage rate for items close to and over 3 meters in length due to them not fitting in standard transport cages within the trucks. It is outside of our control”.
We persevered and tried to straighten the track which we were semi successful and installed the face mount brackets so we could have privacy, only to find the wrong size top mount brackets were supplied. Aaron said he “will have them check the brackets also. ” Frustrating as are the installation drawings (not instructions mind you, go onto YouTube to research them, far better). In the meantime we need to put up a sheet to protect our privacy while they’re on holidays until 18th January.
Overall; 1) be aware of order to delivery timeframes, 2) the risk of damage by their carriers Hunter Express which will result in further delays, and 3) you’ll get a reasonable product; it’s not the best quality but for the price it’s worth it.

I should remove 1 star due to your response, but I'll be fair based on the quality of the original supply and my experience, but if something isn't resolved soon, I will amend again.
After being told that support staff are on holidays, there's an epistle of a response to a review overnight from the "owner", but still NO ANSWER about the wrong brackets supplied or a solution around that, which would reasonably satisfy me and RESOLVE THE OUTSTANDING ISSUE. I spent almost my entire Sunday going from Spotlight to Bunnings and other retailers that were open to try to find them without luck. I asked for a phone call to discuss solutions, I didn't get one. Post delivery support is distant and average.
I ordered 9 shutters and 1 panel blind, everything arrived at the same time over 3 months later. So obviously entirety of order is dispatched at the same time regardless of manufacturing location or timeframes. I've also heard the story about port problems twice now on two different orders. If this is an ongoing issue, just factor it into your delivery times. It's okay, people just need to know.
I said reasonable quality based on price and I meant it. If you'd like me to detail the brittleness of joints I can, however I was satisfied with the shutters and the finish.
I have also had experience with shutters from different retailers in other applications, I have been in the housing industry since 1996, and have seen and installed shutters since 2010 ish, the early days when the tilt rods of the shutters were absolute rubbish and had to be replaced all the time. Therefore I do know what I'm talking about, and don't try to deflect.

Key point to this review for the retailer - when someone asks you to call them to discuss a solution, you need to do it. I didn't want a boatload of excuses, I just wanted 7 ceiling brackets that fit in the short term and a replacement track when it could be manufactured. If you'd done as I'd asked, you could have had a 5 star review. Your indifferent email reply to my support request and lack of phone call has resulted in a lower rating.

Extremely good communication. I bought zero gravity blinds and plantation shutters. The zero gravity is awesome (it really works), the fit to my windows and material quality was perfection. One blind damaged in transit was replaced without question. The plantation shutters sit beautifully open or closed. This company was an absolute joy to deal with, from the measure checking stage to the outstanding order communication and to the product itself, I could not recommend them more highly.

Very easy to install! Just that they easily get damaged near the corners of the frame where the Hoffman keys are (and yes, we were being careful). Also we received one window which was already cracked, likely due to stress from the hinge fitting. Hopefully these faults are more superficial than structural.

Awesome customer service. Unfortunately, there was an error with the sizing, but the re-manufactured and sent out the correct sized blinds without any fuss as soon as possible.

Absolutely THE Greatest blind purchasing experience a person could ask for. Annette was extremely helpful & when I made a mistake with my colours & changed them 7 days later she was understanding and coached me through the whole process. Highly Recommend! 10/10

Ordered a test blind from this place and was very happy with the quality, have since ordered the remaining blinds for the house and all arrived without any issues. Really good pricing compared to what we have been quoted elsewhere.

Ordered two plantation shutters last year for my front windows, and recently received a second order placed this year of two more plantation shutters and roller blinds for my rear windows and sliding door. Both experiences with MyDirectBlinds have been positive, good quality product and quality assurance by their team. Highly recommend.

I did extensive research before I selected My Direct Blinds. I am absolutely and totally delighted with everything from start to finish. Annette and Jade were suuuuuper patient in helping me decide and guiding me. The website is very user friendly and very clear offering so many different colours and fabrics including instant pricing. The delivery charge from Melbourne to Queensland was so incredibly fair. Every single roller blind was beautifully packed and labelled. The quality of the blockout blinds, the sunscreen blinds right down to the brackets, chains etc are exceptional. My entire experience has been fantastic and I cannot recommend MY DIRECT BLINDS high enough. Thank you so much

Don't waste your time!
I had been told our delivery would come shortly after 26/7 then delayed to 31/7 due to shipping issues. We ordered this 14/5!
The courier company they've used advised we'd receive our shutters 1-3 business days from an email sent to us on the 8/8 with delivery to be no longer than the 11/8.
After follow up messages and calls we've had no resolution, no sense of urgency, no service offered to have this resolved. They've taken no responsibility and keep deflecting.
We still have no updates from the courier company either, and the response from My Direct Blinds was - "Hunter express is unable to deliver your 14 items today. A tentative date of estimate delivery was provided for next week. The carrier will not provide an exact delivery day/time. I’m sorry I cannot provide this for you. "
No exact date? ! Are you serious, why do I have to wait around with no further correspondence and then accept that 14 boxes, 70kg and over $3k of goods to be sitting at the front of our house with no coordination at all.
Why is that other companies can coordinate and provide dates and a time slot?
DON'T use My Direct Blinds - they don't care, they don't have any empathy.

I purchased a house full of PVC plantation shutters. Firstly I was impressed that after I ordered online I got a call to go through my order in detail and the woman on the phone made several individualized suggestions that would suit my home better (for no additional cost). The blinds arrived as advertised. Great quality, look amazing. The courier lost and then damaged one of the frames but my direct blinds ordered me a new one straight away. Would absolutely recommend
