Music Swop Shop reviews
47 Bought my first Marshall amp from here years ago. Great people and the prices aren't over inflated like marketplace.
Rock on legends!
Best guitar store in melbourne.staff are incredibly nice and helpful, and the range of guitars is incredible.
Definitely not short of variety.
You can spend hours here.
A 'must see' place if you want something different.
I got there close to closing, but very happy to give me time to find the right instrument - and the case to take it home. Will come back for the next instrument I need!
Great service from knowledgeable and down to earth musicians, in both the electric and acoustic shop over the road.
If you have stolen music equipment, music swap shop are more than happy to sell it for you. I had a very collectible keyboard stolen by Yolanda Vega, a lecturer at Swinburne university, lucky I found it in time, still trying to get back the rest of my stolen property.
My keyboard came back damaged and I don't know if it can be fixed.
Like a box of chocolate’s, you don’t know until you go into the shop either side of the road
What a great musical instrument store. I bought a second-hand electronic piano here a few years ago, and now I'm going to another place to develop, and they are still willing to continue to serve me. I can say that if you want to buy a second-hand musical instrument store, you must go here.
Great opportunity to find the right instrument for begins to advanced players. We have purchased guitars, cello's and many other instruments and items from these guys and have always been happy.
Very helpful and kind staff - took the time to walk a beginner like me through the guitars, showed me different ones based on my budget, didn't pressure me to make a decision, made helpful recommendations based on what little I know about guitars. Highly recommend dropping in here for a visit if you like guitars - whether you are a seasoned veteran or an absolute beginner like myself!
Bloody fantastic! Jeremy, Michael and Ged were super helpful. I love my new guitar, and highly recommend this place. A ‘must stop’ place when passing through Melbourne. Can’t wait to visit again.
Purchased a Charvel from here for a bargain. Awesome guitar. The staff here know their stuff and they are very friendly. Definitely will be coming again and always will be. Best music store in Melbourne!
Great selection of second-hand guitars across several rooms. Now expanded over the road as well.
The first stop shop for second hand instruments. The selection of pre-loved guitars (acoustic and electric) is unmatched. They also carry a full complement of strings, accessories and spares.
Sold one Guitar and have bought three, great to deal with, some bargains to be found if you know what to look for.
What's not to like?
Back at this den of iniquity again where temptation awaits every guitar player.
They are friendly, fair and great to deal with.
Very relaxed vibe for musician's to explore instruments in an easy, no fuss way.the guys are easy going and very helpful. I'll be a regular there!
Awesome boutique music store for lovers of vintage and analog gear. Great vibe with knowledgeable store people, you can come in for a try before you buy.
This is a one of kind spot where you can take your less used music/audio production equipment to hopefully see it have a new life with a new owner.
Definitely worth checking out for any music and vintage lovers.
I've bought several guitars here and have been very happy with them. They have a very wide range. They have guitars in prices ranging from $100s to $10000s. They have acoustics, electrics, basses, even the odd mandolin or banjo. Staff are always very friendly and helpful.
