Music Factory Direct

Amazing service. I made an online order and accidentally selected pickup instead of delivery (my mistake) and after letting MFD know, they posted the order at no further charge and it showed up a few days later.

I live in Sydney and so many of the stores are low on stock. I was looking for a store that accepts AfterPay and Music Factory Direct came up. They have great descriptions of the items for sale (a lot of guitar shops could learn from the work they put into their website) and I found a guitar in my price range and in line with what I was looking for. I paid the extra $45 for a speedy delivery and had it in 2 days. I was nervous buying a guitar online but it came securely wrapped and is a lovely instrument. Matches the description perfectly. Online service is fabulous.

I recently purchased a guitar from Music Factory Direct during Melbourne's lockdown period, unfortunately I wasn't able to go in store and pick the item up so Adam organised postage for me.

Now, after a month of tracking and waiting, delays and multiple enquiries, the courier (I won't name and shame) still hadn't delivered my guitar nor had they bothered to respond to any of my many emails or enquiries.

I contacted Music Factory Direct and let them know of my situation as a formality just so future customers wouldn't have to go through the same thing.

My main concern was that the guitar would arrive damaged, after being on the road, in different vans, thrown around my employees at multiple distribution facilities and I didn't like my chances of it arriving it one piece, but after speaking to the staff at Music Factory Direct, I was assured that they take care to pack the item in multiple bags and boxes to prevent this from happening.

My main contact was Adam who was absolutely amazing. I had more feedback from him in a day then I did from the courier service in over a month.

Adam went above and beyond to make sure I got my item ASAP and kept me up to date on any changes of circumstance.

After 3 days of correspondence with Adam my guitar arrived unscathed, a beautiful Takamine.

Thank you to the team at Music Factory Direct from providing amazing customer service, in particular Adam, who helped me without any obligation to do so, it is very very appreciated.
It felt great to be spoken to and treated like a human being and not just a number.
I couldn't recommend Music Factory Direct any higher than 5 star but they definitely deserve more than available, keep up the great work guys!

What a fantastic experience at Music Factory Direct! I went in to buy a kit (haven’t played for 20 years!). Service and knowledge was absolutely brilliant, and the guys were extremely helpful. It was great to experience wonderful customer service. I will definitely be shopping here from now on! By the way the new kit, hardware and cymbals are amazing!

Great music store. Went down to check our some takamine and prs guitars. The owner/staff was really cool and helpful. They have agreat range of products, not the fanciest of places but gets the job done (which I personally prefer). Very compettive pricing. Great job guys.

I was so impressed with Music Factory Direct. I went there for a specific brand of electric drums. The staff new exactly what I wanted. They had the drums in stock and I picked it up immediately with zero waiting. The staff were friendly, honest and professional and it was just a great and seamless experience. Cheers.

I'm going out of my way to write this review because Adam's assistance over the phone with my existing drum kit was amazing even though I wasn't able to actually buy anything from him. It's this kind of service that makes people want to come back to a store and in the future I'll be turning to Music Factory Direct for future purchases.

The staff here are always the best to deal with, whether it's with Jeff or Adam they always come up with great prices and theres plenty of stock to choose from. Drumkits to skins or sticks and everything in between it's a specialised drum shop that's expanded over the past few years to cater for all sorts of music equipment. Really i think a five star rating is just too low!

I have now purchased 3 drum kits from these guys, and you won't find better customer service anywhere! They are friendly, helpful and know their stuff.

Top place. Staff are friendly and helpful. Guitars/Bass range isn't overly huge, but it is a very specific range, and they do only sell high quality gear, so well worth a look. Prices are very reasonable, often well under RRP, and they stock quite a good assortment of Drum and Audio/Recording equipment, both of which are their specialty.

Rehearsal rooms are also available at a reasonable rate, and there is usually someone available to help setup P. A. /Mics etc.if you're inexperienced with such tech.

Have bought numerous items at Drum Power over the years from sticks to drums to IEM's, and the guys have always been very quick to help out.
