Great place to pray and wudu. You need student card to access the entrance, but if you are a visitor, you can always wait for a brother/sister when they want to enter and ask them kindly.

Personal score

Overall Cleanliness: 5/5
Praying mat: 5/5
Room temp: 4/5
Toilet: 5/5

There are separate rooms for men and women. The praying rooms are spacious. Need id card to enter the rooms.

Lovely musala. Only problem to it is that it’s only for faculty, staff and students. Anyone else who comes by needs access as it has its own ID scanner

The following is a live review of the mosque when I stopped by.

This is just based on my personal point of view.

Jamaah: around 13 shafts. The amount is uncertain. I can't count one by one, right?
Place of wudhu: clean and separated from the place of prayer. The toilet seems to have a good care.
Decoration/ calligraphy: good, some are done using manual calligraphy
Cleanliness: point 4. Overall, it has already got deep clean.
Facilities: fans and air conditioners make jamaah comfortable
Parking: Spacious enough for several cars. The location of this mosque can be accessed from any area.

If this mosque is being built or renovated, then let's help the mosque construction. Let malaaikah write the good deeds that we intemt to do, my brothers and sisters.

I offered Jummah prayer 11 Nov 2022. In summer, jummah prayer timings are 12: 30 pm and 01: 30 pm. Wudu facilities are inside the place.

Very calm peaceful. The masjid hosts two sessions for Friday prayer. Visitors from outside Melbourne Uni are welcome, but must be accompanied with a Uni Mel ID holder.

You need a validated student / staff ID to get in. But it's a very nice prayer area. Big, clean, and reliable.

Melbourne University Islamic Society maintains this place, holding daily prayers, Jummah, Islamic events and iftars. Good community hub.

Well i love that we have a mosque to pray but one thing i dont like here is that whenever i come here to pray there are few students who are always standing here and chatting loudly which is a distraction for the people who are praying. There should be silence and respect for mosque. If you wanna chat you can chat outside rather than having loud discussions within the mosque. Whoever manages the mosque should hang some signboards of keep silence inside the mosque for brothers to make them realize that they are inside the mosque. JazakAllah

Assalamu'alaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Alhamdulillahirrabbil'alamiin, We find mosque/musalla near the hotel where we stay.

Sholat Jum'at (Friday Pray) will be twice
1.12: 30 pm
2.01: 30 pm / 13: 30

Clean and comfort place for sholat/pray.

Unfortunatelly you must have access card to open the Glass Door to enter this Musalla.

You have to wait someone (that has Access Card / University of Melbourne Student Card) to be able to pray in this mosque/musalla.

Any moslem brother on University of Melbourne can help me to get Access card to this Musalla (I am Melbourne routine visitor and need for 5 times daily pray in this Musalla). I can give copy of passport / ID CARD for security administration process.

While waiting for your support, I would like to say thank you very much.

Wassalamu'alaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
