Murray River Paddlesteamers Echuca

Family did this river cruise on the Murray. Great adventure and historical eye opener for us. Probably wouldn’t do it again with little kids though. Only negative was the constant traffic along the river with jet skis and boats zooming passed disturbing the serenity of the cruise. For $180 for the whole family for 1hr I’m not sure it is great value.

My husband, parents and I went on the PS Canberra with a toddler and it was such a great experience. A nice and relaxed trip up the Murray. Our tour guide/Captain gave an entertaining and informative commentary. We learnt a lot!

Took a ride on PS Adelaide a few days ago. Great to see the care taken by staff to keep the paddle steamer in excellent condition considering it's age. Well worth visiting.

A fun time on the river, kids loved the smoke, smell and sounds of the steam engine. Keep an eye out for the wild life along the banks.

Lovely day out in Echuca! The PS Canberra is a sweet little paddle-steamer, you seem to step back in time while in the Port! Staff are friendly and the views of the Murray River while cruising are spectacular. Price for one adult is a little steep but will definitely visit again.

The one-hour cruise on PS Canberra was a great introduction to the nearby river area and some history. Great to see the engine being worked on along the way.

The 1 hour cruise on PS Canberra was brilliant! What a great way to spend an afternoon. Going back in time to see this amazing steam powered engine glide us along the Murray River in Echuca. Commentary was perfect, so much history along those waters.

Went on a 1 hour ride, the view was soooo nice. Calming and relaxing experience. Worth for the price! Great service by the friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Today we went on the Canberra paddlesteamer that then took us to moama Morrison's winery where we had a lovely two course meal in a lovely location on the river. The Canberra picked us up after lunch and then back to echuca. The staff at the winery were lovely and the staff on the Canberra were great. The captain explained the history 9f the steamers. All were friendly. Would recommend this trip to everyone visiting echuca. Thank you for a lovely day.

It was the highlight of my trip and excellent. Learnt a lot of history and the weather turned out perfect.

Had a lovely day on the PS Emmy Lou today, having a lunch cruise. Lunch options were really good and affordable. I had the burger, which was amazing, one if the test I've had. The kids enjoyed their nuggets and chips. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone!

Had a lovely day travelling on the Canberra to Morrison’s winery for lunch, on the Wharf to Winery cruise. The seating on the Canberra was great for a fine day, with outdoor seating at front and rear on the main deck, in addition to the upper deck. Our captain’s commentary was very informative and entertaining and was easy for my hard of hearing Dad to understand. Our lunch at Morrison’s was very filling and the setting was lovely. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Everything was closed in the port. Shops and information services not open and no steamer rides. Very disappointed.

It’s a great day being on the Adelaide. Wonderful way to spend the time on the Murray River with family and dog. Love the narration of the history around the place. You can look at how the engine works from inside. The whole trip takes about an hour.
