Mun Korean Kitchen reviews
16We've had the Korean fried chicken and barbeque Korean meats on multiple occasions from this place. The barbeque Korean meats were especially awesome.
Food was innovative, tasted clean and healthy. Portion size is normal but the amount of meat they give in the dish was impressive. However, the overall taste of food was not admirable. Seasoning is very Asian so they seem to use the minimal amount of salt. Non Asian people might want some extra salt to sprinkle on top. I had ssam platter and spicy pork in the ssam platter was dry. Maybe it had been pre-cooked and finished in the oven. Rice balls that came with the dish were good. Not bad but not great.
Tried the boneless chicken coated with spicy chilli and soy garlic, it was delicious, big portion.
Really delicious Korean food! The fried chicken is a must have - I had the hot chilli flavour but the soy garlic also looked good! The japchae was also excellent with a good charred flavour.
I had the kimchi stew. It was alright, did the job, but I was pretty unimpressed. Also this was the first time I went to a korean restaurant and was not served side dishes with the stew lol. Overall, the food is decent but nothing worth noting.
You craving Korean fried chicken? Then Mun Kitchen is the place to go. Sometimes they’re a little inconsistent with the chicken but overall I’d eat there everyday if I could
It was good! We had a stone down jangjorim ban and original chicken sweet chilli and soy garlic, tastes good to me. Chicken was crispy!
Chicken/dipping sauces are to die for and other dishes are very nice, big meals and also licensed.
The best fried chicken I've ever eaten, Beat's KFC hands down.
Great bang for buck. Very filling. Very satisfying. The chicken was super crispy and flavourful and the salad was the perfect complement!
Not enough options for sauces with chicken
$6.50 for a small basket of chips?
Also not alot of vegetables on the menu
Also certain people not understanding english when I only ordered 1 serving and brought/charged me for 2?
Love this Korean restaurant! The food was delicious and full of flavour. I was determined to try everything on the menu! The restaurant is beautifully designed and pretty aesthetic. The staff were also extremely friendly.
Definitely recommend this Korean restaurant!
Great Korean food in the west! Japchae is not too sweet and refreshing with plenty of greens and mushrooms. Kimchi stew is just nice, not too salty and compliment with the sweetness of other dishes. Boneless chicken is mostly chicken breast and the texture is crunchy which works well with the sweet chili sauce. Totally enjoyed the food. Service and price are good too. Highly recommended.
Good food and we enjoyed fried chicken and kim chi fried rice. The fries were so good that it rivals those from macdonalds. It was pricey and the menu is small but at least what they have on offer are all tasty.
We are regulars at Mun. Food was decent as always. But staff definitely need training.
The male waiter took our order. We waited for 20 minutes and started seeing food served at other tables. I asked the male waiter to check on our order. He did not come back to give us an update.
10 minutes later we asked a female waiter to check our order. She said our order was not entered and will put our order in front of the queue.
20 minutes later they were still serving 7 other tables food who came after us. It took at least 1 hour till we got our food.
None of the staff apologised. Really angry, frustrated and disappointed.
Went for dinner on Wed 29/7 and ordered a kimchi fried rice which came out stone cold. Sent it back and it came back smoking 2 mins later (assuming it was microwaved) The kicker was i got food poisoning the next day which only leaves me to think that the fried rice wasn't freshly made. Disappointing given it was $17 for what was a very basic dish.
