We joined the "Best of the Alps" tour in 2022 and had a great time. Mummu cycling catered not only for cyclists but also their partners. Both Grace and I had a memorable time, made lots of friends and will be joining Mummu in future tours. We highly recommend Mummu not just for their well planned organisation and support but also the people.

My son and I participated in the Pyrenees Tour 2022 and had a fantastic holiday. The combination of cycling and watching the pros works really well, and the support by the Mummu staff was really excellent. The access to the Relais Etape, cycling on closed roads & across stage starts & finishes was really special and created great memories. I'd highly recommend this trip to anyone with an interest in cycling, and Mummu provided an excellent service, with quality food, accommodation etc. Thanks to everyone at Mummu for their help & support, we're already planning our next trip!

Thank you Mummu for the best cycling experience of our lives! The French countryside and villages were lovely but what made the trip extra special was the access to closed road sections of the course, start and finish lines and VIP hospitality. Jean Seb, Raphael, Lude and Brian took all the hassle out of a cycling tour and their love of cycling rubbed off on everyone. Thanks too to Paul who was always accessible for any questions we had and who always replied quickly to our emails.
This was going to be a one-off for us but we're already thinking how we can include at least some of a Mummu tour in our next European holiday.

Absolutely one of the best experiences of my life. If you have any interest in cycling or the TDF this is a MUST do!

The staff were capable, gracious and very accommodating. Non cycling participants were not forgotten and were included in all the group activities in addition to some that were only for them. The organisation of the program was adaptive to the changes imposed by the race organisers and was generally considerate of individual needs. Access to areas was good and to be at the finish on the decisive stage 20, where Jai Hindley gapped the race leader, was a wonderful experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mummu to riders and spectators alike.

Mummu took a cycling holiday and turned it into an EXPERIENCE! I never had to worry about resupplying on the rides, they took care of bike issues when they arose, and they made things happen that we would not have been able to do ourselves. Highly recommended!

I joined Mummu Cycling for the 2020 Tour Down Under 4 day experience with a couple of friends, and would happily recommend them for a great cycling holiday.
Early email enquiries were dealt with swiftly, and a small changes to my arrival timings were no problem.
Upon arriving in Adelaide we were met with friendly and professional staff that ferried us between locations with ease. Their experience was evident from the outset, ensuring that we were well prepared for each day's riding and event attendance.
Our ride guides were Emily Collins and Darren O'Grady, who were encouraging, supportive, friendly and accommodating throughout the trip.
Our first ride out to the beach was a slow and steady affair, most likely to judge the pack riding skills of the riders.
The Thursday welcome cocktail party was full of amazing cycling personalities and champions including Stuart O'Grady and Baden Cooke, and all were happy to share their experience and answer our questions.
After participating in the Westpac Challenge Tour on Friday, Saturday's ride was to watch the start of Stage 5 at Glenelg before heading into the hills for a few efforts.
On Saturday evening, we were suited and booted for the Legends' Dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre, where Mummu had two full tables. What a night! Cycling royalty everywhere, and all happy to chat and sign an autograph for us.
Sunday's ride was out to Willunga Hill to see the end of the final stage, where the team arranged a lunch at a great restaurant just a few metres from the finish line. Once the race had finished, we were transported back to the airport to head home.
The trip was a complete success - great staff, great customers and excellent support and guidance. Will definitely be riding with Mummu again, most likely on one of their longer overseas trips.

Thanks to all at GreenEDGE Travel and Mummu Cycling for a wonderful trip with them at La Vuelta 2019. Their knowledge, expertise, organisation and assistance made for a wonderful trip! Lara, Em and Stuey were a delight to travel with! They took care of everything and nothing was a problem! It was a great experience to meet and greet with the Mitchelton-SCOTT team; their executive team right through to the riders were so welcoming and giving of their time! The rides along the way fitted in well with the Stage locations (not always an easy task, some driving to and fro to be done, but that is impossible to avoid chasing a Grand Tour). Thanks again to all, well done for a great trip and to all of your 'over and above' assistance! Best wishes to you all! Jen Good

What can I say other than it was an absolutely brilliant experience! The Alps Pro tour exceeded all of my expectations. Huge access to the Tour de France, VIP zones for excellent viewing, see and meet some of the superstars of cycling, see their insanely expensive bikes and if you're lucky, have a quick chat. Accommodation was extremely comfortable and relaxing, schedule was easily followed and set out for each day with plenty of time to explore or rest after the days events. And the cycling experiences.wow! Col du Galibier was a perfect day and maybe the best experience of my life with views that I will never forget. The stage depart on the Pont du Gard was incredible and riding on the closed roads with local fans cheering us on is something that Iwill never forget.
Meeting Stuart O'Grady and Matt Goss, two legends of Australian and world cycling, asking them an insane amount of questions but also good to hear the insights of being a pro cyclist, life in the TdF bubble and generally learning that they are simply good blokes.
Mummu Cycling Team, you exceeded all my expectations and I want to thank all of you for making my holiday a brilliant one. Marcel, thanks for helping me book at late notice, Liam - you are a machine mate, never stopped and kept things running smoothly, Nathan - you're a legend and made the trip a lot of fun. Stu and Matt, awesome meeting both of you and getting to ride with you - couple of ticks on the bucket list just there.
Awesome group too who I will be keeping in touch with.
I will be back for another adventure soon. Mummu is the only place that I will be booking with so I just need to decide when that will be.
Many thanks and see you again soon.

There simply aren't enough stars. Mummu is in a league of its own. I think that this was one of first times that Stuart, Marcel and the crew did the Tour de Vins as part of their broader program of tours and it was genuinely (putting aside childbirth and weddings etc) the best 6 days I have spent. Stuart O'Grady is part of the fabric of the Tour de France and treated accordingly. We all had the benefit of the esteem with which the international cycling community holds Stuart and we had access to former riders, the current peloton and behind the scenes areas that no-one could or should have expected. I have since been feverishly telling cycling friends to cancel their planned trips with other providers and sign up with Mummu instead. To Stuart, Marcel, Liam, Cedric and Emily my profound thanks. I am saving for my next Tour.
(For anyone reading this who is considering another tour group ask them whether they can organise a chat with Peter Sagan (below).

Great time. Did tour de vins and did some rides on closed roads. Good company and got a pics with some of the legends. All in all it was good fun. Would have liked to do more riding though, but this wasn’t a serious cycling tour.

I recently completed the Alpes Tour with Nick Gates @ the TDF
Nick, Georgia & Lucy had excellent customer service & support during the week & were absolute ripper personalities. Upon reflection, without these individuals, my experience wouldn’t have been as positive. There were much room for improvement though! (See below)

Positives;

- Accommodation: Hotels selected for this tour were of excellent quality given the sometimes remote location of our tour & were a welcome surprise

- Staff: as previously discussed, Nick, Georgia & Lucy were helpful & caring to the needs!

Negatives;

- lack of mechanical support: I was assured when booking & again prior to departure from both Mummu Staff & the daily itinerary that a mechanic would be available to the group. In fact it said in day one of the app that upon arrival at the hotel in Avignon, that the mechanics would put your bike together. It appeared that you expected Nick to hold. When paying this kind of money, daily mechanical support & even a bike clean shouldn't be out of the question.

- photographer: Nick & Co did a good job of using their iPhones to photograph daily rides but again, when paying this kind of money a photographer on a couple of the days when riding the Cols, shouldn’t be out of the question.

- transport: Transport when traveling 3+ hrs between venues on multiple occasions is something that should be considered in the planning.

- logistics: the planning of the routes appeared to be something arranged by head office without consultation with Nick or another experienced rider. Routes were loaded onto Garmin without any reconnaissance so often resulted in changes prior to & during the ride. The routes also often required altering due to

- Spare bikes & equipment: As part of this tour I was also assured that there would be spare bikes, wheels & parts available to the riders in case of a mechanical. I have stated above my comments on mechanical support, however it was further evident that there were none of these. What would have been a spare bike was loaned to a rider on Day 1 as there wasn’t a mechanic to fix his bike so we didn’t have any spare bike.

- food: It was disappointing that all meals weren’t included in this package. The logistics etc of worrying about finding food when you don’t speak the language & are in unfamiliar territory are unnecessary.

- rider experience: Mixed experience was a negative. A better system would include a mandatory Strava check of experience and training at sign up & a the development of a proper weekly training plan that everyone had to commit too. This would need to be reviewed monthly and honest conversations had with riders as to their suitability if they were not following it. Should you want to accommodate these less fit people then breaking the tour into experience/ fitness groups would ensure minimal impact and maximum enjoyment for all. The plan on the website from O’Grady wasn’t a proper plan & didn’t include tangible goals/ measurements during the training schedule.

- support: due to slow riders as mentioned above, the support for water, food and quasi mechanical was always in the rear some distance from the leading riders. I understood the need for this but again, on an expensive tour like this a lead and rear car should be achievable and would improve the experience.

I enjoyed the week, thanks to a couple of individuals in the group and some great staff (Nick, Georgia & Lucy) but I would struggle to recommend this tour if these aspects weren’t addressed. I may be booking a further tour in the next 24months and these questions and assurances will form a significant part of my planning/ selection of a suitable tour group.

Had a great experience on the Mummu Pyrenees Ride Experience. Fantastic riding; we rode Hautacam, Soulor, Tourmalet and Luz-Ardiden among others. Simply awesome routes and scenery, great climbs on tough enough but not ridiculous cols. Nick Gates and Siska did a great job of leading, supporting and looking after the group and our tour was well integrated into TDF when Le tour passed through. Will do it again sometime!

There's a place for everyone in a Mummu tour - riders of varying capabilities, spectators, and adventurists who want an extraordinary life experience. We joined the Tour des Vins Mummu program within the 2019 Tour de France, my husband a cycling enthusiast and me, a seeker of unique/cool experiences (but definitely not a cyclist or in-shape human). Team Mummu accommodated our respective interests and capabilities and delivered the outcomes we each wanted. I gave cycling a shot and Mummu enabled me to ride to my capability limit and then kindly gave me a lift to catch up to the group.as a result, I enjoyed the cycling on my own terms within the Mummu safety parameters and without feeling pressured to keep up with the "real" riders or relegated to the sidelines. Marcel, Stuart, Liam, Cedric, and Emily are each, in their own right, exceptional people; and as a team, well, simply incredible. And while I did not meet Paul, who answered my endless questions on the administrative side, in person, I can attest he too delivered exceptional customer care and service. From our first e-mail inquiring about the Mummu TdF tour through our farewell after the Stage 7 depart in Belfort, we knew we were in the hands of professionals committed to their mission, capable in their planning, and thorough in their execution. Without question, each member of the Mummu team demonstrated attention to detail, listening and responding to group and individuals' queries/dream experience requests, ensured safety precautions were communicated and followed, and delivered an incredible experience we remain "wowed" we got to live. Team Mummu puts the customer at the center of its thinking/planning/doing. I'm a tough customer with a high bar when it comes to "return on investment" of time and money. Mummu Cycling's investment in producing an extraordinary project was evident and without question, they delivered a return on our investment. All the better that we had a fantastic group of people to share the Tour des Vins cycling, TdF excitement & hospitality, and beautiful Alsace region with for five days. Book your trip now! You will be disappointed only if you wait too long and miss out on the experience you've been wanting to live. Thanks again Team Mummu and the 2019 Tour des Vins crew!

We recently joined Mummu Cycling for the “Pyrenees Pro Experience” with Stuart O’Grady as our host. This week in France with them was FANtastic. We got to experience the excitement of the TDF like you could not believe. Exclusive access to Start and Finish lines including a couple of really tough mountain stages, hospitality second to none, friendly team support crew and of course all the knowledge and expertise shared by one of Australia’s legendary sports stars. I highly recommend this trip if you are looking to experience a taste of the Tour with all the trimmings but not being too exhausted at the end of the day to still enjoy a little of what France has to offer after dark.

A fantastic experience. Cycling the cobbles with Stewy O'Grady was just incredible. Riding parts of the classic routes gave great insight to the pro rider experience. Well organised itinerary and a great support team.

The Spring Classics exceeded my lofty expectations. Stuey, Nick, Cedric, Liam, Jean Sebastian and Guillaume were fantastic. Great accommodations, food, routes, and inside access to the pro peloton. My riding companions were fantastic - great group. Thank you for a memorable experience.

From the time we arrived at Brussels airport until we were dropped off at the end of our trip the MUMMU team made our trip a memorable one. The riding was fantastic and everyone did that little bit extra to give us an awesome experience.
