I moved here in year 9 and was blown away with how nice all of the teachers are, they all genuinely care about the students and their wellbeing, there is an amazing sense of community and the students are treated like they're people and way more than just numbers and grades.it was a major upgrade from my old school.everyone is so caring and the staff all make sure that everyone knows how important and cared for they are.

Great school. My kids actually like going to school. Small schools are good for my kids feeling like they are acknowledged and belong.

I currently have a Y7 Student at Mullauna & couldn't be happier with how they have been supported in their journey into high school life.

Bad school, most teachers struggle to get students undercontrol. The facilties such as toilets seem to never be cleaned. Some teachers have favourite genders so they favor one side of the class over the other. The education most of the teachers provide okay education, they struggle to make the education engaging.

Alright school but they don’t do much when other students are causing major issues. Not the best education wouldn’t put my kids at this school.

This review will focus on the teachers and facilities of the school, along with my personal opinions. We will not focus on students as they change year to year and will not remain steady.
Teachers, the good and the bad.
Like all schools every teacher is different however, a trait I've noticed between all teachers is that they are more then willing to help our students with work. Another interesting point to note is that a large portion of teachers are willing to change their classes in ways to better suite their students and how they learn. However there's a certain teacher I will not name whom seams to be stuck in the past, handing us nothing but worksheets to complete. If your child is in her class and is doing anything other then maths I highly recommend you get their classes shifted. (Still more then willing to give extra help to students if they ask.)
The facilities.
Mullauna is comprised of 7 different wings along with 2 sub buildings. A wing, which features the front desk, assembly hall and a music room. This wing directly connects to the F wing however if you wish to go from the front desk into it you'll need a teachers permission as the connecting hall is full of staff offices.
B wing, this is one of the modernised wings, all it's rooms feature large plasma screens along with a built in whiteboard next to them. These screens are commonly used by teachers to display set work, the textbooks questions for students whom haven't brought their text book or whom don't own one, or for playing videos to a class which helps with class engagement. It also has 2 modern science rooms installed, featuring large seating area's on one side and a lab space on the other.
C wing, I don't actually know where or what happened to C wing. From what I know it got demolished and court area's were put up as a replacement. These courts are commonly used by students and features 2 gaga ball pits, which is an extremely fun game. This court also features a netball court and if my memory serves me right, 3 basket ball rings.
D wing, this wing features the art rooms & is modernised like B wing. It has 2 large art rooms along with a computer hall, all the computers have adobe photoshop and other artwork creation programs pre-installed. Hence their location near the art rooms. All class rooms have large monitors installed in them just like in B wing.
E wing, this contains 2 cooking rooms, 2 science rooms and the "maker space". The maker space is 2 rooms, the first one containing computers and 3 3d printers along with a laser engraver. This gives students the opportunity to create many interesting designs, and print out models and artwork they create. Secondly it features a large hall with strong tables within. This hall contains everything you need for wood working and general crafts, with a plethora of supplies ranging from discarded computer parts to cardboard to wood. Along with that the teacher whom runs it is skilled and extremely helpful, just make sure to not do anything stupid.
Finally we have the F wing, the oldest of the wings it features a computer hall and a large number of general class rooms. The size of the monitor in each class room here varies but usually remains small, sometimes only having a projector. Normally the higher and more reasonable year levels get placed in these class rooms so it shouldn't impact them all too much.

The school also features a large library, another computer hall that offshoots from E wing but normally isn't regarded as E wing, and the canteen.
The Canteen has recently undergone a makeover, in which the menu was fully revamped, 4$ for a basic sandwich and students are no longer employed at the canteen. Instead immigrants have been employed which, I don't know why this change occurred however it has only been to the harm of the student body: Students are now unable to get the friendly work experience that they were once able too; The canteen now has lower staff due to this increasing the amount of time taken for an order; The staff also aren't fluent in English further increasing wait times.

I submitted this review anonymously for a reason and most of this info applied to my close friends and I. This school has good education and most of the teachers are great, but there is one teacher in particular who we were meant to trust to be able to deal with our conflict at school and create a solution. But instead he made the drama worse. Apart from this teacher, the rest of the school is good.

Good facilities and helpful and reasonable staff. The music team there is amazing and put a lot of effort into the students education.

I went to high school here. Good school with some good teachers as well. Thanks to a grant from the government some of the buildings have been renovated and rebuilt.
