Mulino woodfire pizzeria

This was a pleasant surprise! We came here for dinner on a weekday and were impressed by the divine Italian food.

The pizzas were great, the pastas were delicious and the sides were abundant. We also enjoyed the salads and desserts! Staff were lovely and they provided quality service.

The location was slightly underwhelming though. Definitely returning here.

Amazing food, but service was not great. Our Waitress seemed very bored and uninterested and the food took very long to arrive, but the quality made it worth it.

This place is unbelievably delicious. Best woodfire pizza I've had. Our table of 4 could not stop ordering additional food.

My partner and I recently enjoy it a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The food was certainly authentic and tasted amazing, complemented by the excellent service, from staff the certainly knew what they were talking about and had great recommendations. I would certainly recommend going here for yourself, because we will certainly be heading there again shortly.

Awesome pizzas, possibly the best in Melbourne however service was quite slow the night we were there.

Pizza was ok, but for some bizarre reason it arrived with the cheese and lettuce in a separate container, not on the pizza. I can only presume the chef thought I was a hipster wanting a deconstructed meal. After I added the toppings, the pizza was ok but nothing special.

This is a great woodfire pizza joint, the base is not soggy when it comes out, a nice crust very much like New York coal fired pizza.
John is a master, I've only just met the owner, he's been making pizzas for 27 years. You can feel the passion when he talks.
The servers could be better, but when food is this good for a local you can be a little flexible.
We had the gnocchi is a clay pot, my god as good as I've ever had, the pappardelle ragu was just a touch too al dente and the plate very cold. Flavour 10/10.
The pizza is so good, just cooked to perfection and with the right amount of ingredients and toppings.
Our friend asked if he had gluten free pizza, I was embarrassed at the length he went to preparing the surface, the over cleaning every bit of flour to make a gluten free pizza. AND when it came out OMG it was amazing, so amazing I'm thinking I'll switch to GF, topping again perfect.
I was so excited that I forgot to take photos, but I will next time I go.

Great Italian food!
I've ordered take away twice. Both times staff were friendly, wait time was only 20 mins and food (prawn rissoto first time and lamb meatballs pasta) was delicious. Their salads and desserts are interesting and tasty as well.
Had a friend who was glutten free and they were very accommodating with all menu. She loved her food too (glutten free pasta but also could have chosen a base glutten free as well).

Amazing food.gnocchi were the best I've had in a long time.definitely some signature dishes here worth trying. Quiet location.plenty of parking nearby

This is a hidden local gem. The food could have easily come out of a top restaurant in the city. Fresh and delicious.
The service was friendly but very slow, even with an almost empty restaurant - so a good place to go for a social meetup, rather than a quick bite.

Great Food, service could be more friendly, we had Pizza there, and cannot argue with quality, very slippery polished tables (could do something about that), and staff could smile a bit more often, overall good and would recommend

Always great service and delicious pizzas. A great place for families, our toddler loves the margarita pizza ️ Good options for vegetarians too.

I am always wary of trying pizza because almost all of them taste like run of the mill mediocre to bad. But this is so near my home I just have to try it after seeing some good reviews and the place is usually busy. I ordered just one capricciosa to test and it was GREAT! Watch out, I am going to try other food! Am sure it will be good!
