Muffin Break Fountain Gate (Foodcourt)

I ordered bananas bread! This morning! And I ask for please toast the bread! She started to toast the bread an I was standing exactly on my position where I can see the toast machine! When she try to change the bread side for toasting she dropped the bread on the floor! She supposed to change new bread… but she used back the bread that she dropped in the floor! She thought i didn’t notice that! And they package for me! I’ll just take the bread and throw in the bin! This is the worst service and cheap way for business!

I got myself a free Raspberry Coconut Muffin for my birthday and a flat white. The combination of the coffee and muffin is perfect for my taste buds! As you can see, I've already eaten half of the muffin before the coffee was even ready. I recommend this for people who loves desserts without the fear of taking in too much calories.

Very slow. Makes one coffee at a time.
Had muffins as well which were warmed up, they had gone cold by the time coffee was made. Staff unfriendly.

Ordered chicken avocado panini of some sort. Horrible! Heated it up in microwave then toasted it. Bread was tough and the chicken felt like canned or really old tight to chew. Waited a while for a pre prepared thing. 1st time and last time for here

Dreadful customer service. I've now waited for 20 minutes for a (pre-prepared) Toastie. My coffee arrived 10 minutes ago, and i keep watching the disorganisation (and its not even that busy). All the orders keep getting mixed around and reordered on the bench for no reason. My coffee is getting cold as I would really like to eat my meal in one go.

The rest of the family have ordered elsewhere and finished their meals 10 minutes ago.

Awful experience, I had to reorder 3 times because they got my coffee order wrong. First they over charged me on an $8 deal, then she brought out a small when I ordered a large in a mug, then she came out with a large take away and tried to say that they don’t do mugs this time of day which is ridiculous since the small she brought out was in a mug. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic Muffin Break with fantastic customer service and lovely coffee and cakes. Kudos to the two Asian ladies who prepare the coffee and take orders at the same time as they certainly do a great job under pressure. Great range of coffee, pastry, and cakes, which are delicious. Will certainly be back here for my coffee hit. Thumbs up.

Im a very fussy vegetarian and also get very anxious when it comes time to eat, but today at muffin break i ordered the bacon and egg roll and asked for no bacon and add cheese instead, the lady was so nice and said she would make me a fresh one whereas other places just take the meat out, once i got it it was made so nicely (not just thrown together) and i really appreciate the effort, they may think it’s nothing but it makes a huge difference for me with my disorder so thankyou?

It's an absolute joke to pay over $4.00 and not have it strong. It's a glass of milk with coffee flavour, perhaps even a recycled shot making 2 cups with one shot. Satisfy the customer if you want them to come back

If i could give negative stars i would, the coffee was absolutely horrid, got my order wrong had to ask them to remake it, remade it and was still horrid.came back a 20 mins later, to get some afternoon take away cakes, stood there for 3 minutes waiting to order while 2 ladies were to busy chatting to even serve me, then the cakes cost $33 - $5.60 each quite ridiculous, and didn’t even put them in a box.overall my experience here was shocking.

Got coffee a while ago and it tasted alright but it was literally way too hot I did not ask for extra hot. Had a chocolate muffin which also tasted pretty good but was quite tough. Second time had the same experience with coffee. I’m not sure if the staff aren’t using thermometer’s but it shouldn’t be that hot and is a danger hazard honestly.

I went to Muffin Break in Fountain Gate and produced my card for my free birthday Muffin. It had expired. They offered me a free one anyway. So lovely of them. I went to Muffin Break at Knox a few weeks before to claim it and they were closed due to Covid. I went to Chadstone a week later and no Muffin Break there anymore. I live over 30kms from the nearest shopping centre. Love this store.

Ordered a pie and the pastry tasted stale hard to chew and cut. My vanilla chai latte had this weird grain like texture to it like they got an Insta coffee packet and just stirred it up. Think I’ll just got the the coffee club next time.

Ordered a ham and cheese toastie with out toasted the young girl gave me one from window I felt it ends were hard asked for a fresh one she told me it was fresh only put it in window an hour ago told her no crusts are hard. She took it back instead of making a fresh one gives me another one from window it’s the same. Ended up walking off with it and cutting crusts off. Team member was rude all I wanted was a fresh sandwich like they normally make me. Was not happy.

I only came here because I had a free coffee for my birthday. Time and time again, they're coffee is below average and aways taste weird.
Same goes for the other stores. It's sad how not all of them take gift vouchers either. I had to call around to see who did!
Seems like communication amongst stores is very poor. Their muffins are okay, hence the 2 stars.

Charged 30 dollars for 2 coffees and 2 muffins, sign on counter advertises $8.50 for coffee and a muffin, coffee was so bad we just binned it, milk was burnt. Staff attitude was the same as coffee.

Disappointing quality - way below standards.this applies to the one on level 2 as well! Just avoid muffin break in general.although it may be cheap, the quality matches the price so you might as well go somewhere else that actually cares about quality and customers.

Coffee is unbelievably hot. Hope you've got 45-60 min to drink it. I mean it's scorching. Hard to hold the cup. But if hot is your thing, this place is highly recommended.

The coffee is very terrible, I saw the staff use the coffee powder instead of ground coffee beans. It's the worst coffee I had. Taste like instant coffee. 1 dollar coffee from 711is even better. Also, the staff's attitude is dispointing and rude. Won't come back a second time.
