Muffin Break Eastland (Downstairs) reviews
27Very good service. They will take care of any customer's needs. The food is fresh and will be processed according to personal requirements.
Most unpleasant experience at this Muffin Break franchise. Lady that took my order had very little understanding of English. Got my request wrong despite clearly repeating 2xs. We ordered a cappuccino and Mocha. Neither was marked My Mocha was a cappuccino. Had to task which was which and to tell them the Mocha was wrong. The guy states you want chocolate in it? Yes its a Mocha. Then while sitting down trying to enjoy our coffee, their kid.comes over without an excuse me, leans over me and my coffee cup to grab the sugar etc to refill. Zero hospitality and customer service skills
Obviously bought a franchise with zero training. Never returning. 1 is too generous a score after today's experience. Minus zero is more apt
I purchased a muffins on my way to work this morning at the Muffin break on the ground floor. The woman served me was the rudest I have ever seen. She was inpatient and looked annoyed the whole time she spoke to me. I am not sure whether she did that intentionally because I am Asian (she is also Asian). She doesn’t have to work in this industry, if she doesn’t want to be polite (doesn’t matter if she owns the cafe or not).
I got a medium sized oat dirty chai and it was amazing! They don’t charge you for alternative milk and the dirty chai was delicious:) thank you for your beautiful customer service
It would nice if there were berries in their mixed berry muffin, apart from the one on top!
Didn’t have a nice experience I was being served by a women she was blunt I ordered a gingerbread man for my child and then asked what muffin boxes were available she answered my questions and then proceeded to serve the next person.
I was so confused I told her I’d like the 6 pack of muffins and she told me to wait as she took a man’s order. The other shopper then told me he was being served.that’s interesting bc I was the one staying in front of the till front of line no one was in line when I got there. He stool behind and to the side of me.
Her customer service skills need work. She disregarded me so I went to the cafe just up from it much nicer service.
Ordered a ham and cheese croissant, double checking it was separate to the ham cheese tomatoes as I mentioned I was allergic.
It wasn’t seperate, they just took the tomatoes out, I found out the hard way.
What a lovely lady, we order 2 coffees and some cakes for our toddlers, the lady made beautiful coffees, gave my wife and I a little treat each and also gave the boys a small milk each. Such great service and was great coffee.
You don’t see service like this very often.
Very great full
I went today this morning at10.05 am. The cashier is so rude. She didn't say “hi” and “thank you”. And she pointed her finger to tap the card. It’s bad manners. I won't go back
Flat white was weak, too hot, and milk had that old taste. Couldn't drink it! Egg and bacon roll wasn't great either.
The worst coffee. Got a double shot, paid extra and it still tasted like warm milk. Don't waste your money at this shop.
Terrible. $5 for a small milkshake. $2.50 for a baby chino that was the tiniest we ever had and we had to ask for Marshmellows. There is an offer for a free muffin on your birthday and it was my friends birthday but they wouldn't let her sign up and get the free muffin that same day. Won't be back.
Almost an afterthought to have something else to eat after a visit to SpudBAR. I just happened to sit right by Muffin Break. So glad I did. One vegan blueberry and apple muffin later, I was a very happy customer. Delicious taste and excellent value for money. Can't wait for an opportunity to go there again.
Ordered a Latte & a Cappuccino.very weak & watery! Muffins left us with severe indigestion.
Language barrier, therefore poor communication.
Very poor hygiene.
More inspections need to take place!
Over priced warm milk, no foam, babychino. Lukewarm coffee and terrible service. Uneven tables that wobble and cause drinks to spill. Coffee club offer free babychino with a coffee. So many other great coffee places in eastland. Give this one a miss.
Cheaters! Even if I keep scanning my muffin break reward card they still say its your first coffee.
I buy atleast 3-4 coffees a week.
Not bad. It’s one of the usual chains and of course they sell muffins. But they also sell other sweet delights. Coffee isn’t bad. Service can be hit and miss.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible. Good parking up to 3 hours free.
Really great service from a young gentleman who fixed up an error in our order. Felt very comforted and was refreshing. Good food good coffee and can see the kids play from the tables too!
3rd time I've been here and 3rd time they have been poor either bad products or bad service or a combination of the 2 so many better options in the complex
Terrible! Coffee was burnt, food we order was made completely wrong. Could not understand the man either absolutely apauling
