Muffin Break Doncaster

Absolute joke. Asked for an additional butter for the muffin and told it is 20 cents. Didn’t give me butter with the muffin initially. Will never go back here ever!

Hi, I am raman. I used to work with muffin break as the baker in box hill. It was the most disgusting experience for me. Both the employers Tina and Amit were extremely abusive towards me. Tina used to do verbal abuse on me every other day. And Mr. Amit threatens me to assault me. Their behaviour as the employer was most unprofessional and disgusting. Lacking the way to treat the employees. Moreover they underpay their employees. Tina should learn the way to deal, treat and talk with employees and some basic manners also. The disgusting lady. Both used to shout and scream on me. And mind your behaviour with employees.

Good service, but undrinkable, burnt, bad coffee, and I like Muffin Break coffee. Used to be a favourite Muffin Break, not now.

Terrible coffee! Went in to celebrate international coffee day and brought in my own reusable cup. It was filled 1/3 of the way in a small cup. Not impressed at all! Wouldn’t recommend this chain

In terms of muffin break standards it’s on point but when buying gluten free muffins and getting several chic chips then plain dough.well not particularly enticing me to buy again

These chain stores are consistent wherever you go. So it’s often the people that make it work. These owners are nice but twice now I’ve been served by someone who struggles to understand English. But they are trying their best. The muffins are always good and the food is always
served quickly. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram
and stroller friendly.

Their coffee and hot choc is absolutely lovely, it’s great to go to a cafe with Gluten Free muffins that taste amazing too! Been here a few times now and it’s yet to disappoint, staff are super friendly best coffee at Doncaster SC I’ve tried for sure.

Latte boiling hot and tasteless, the milk is well and truly burnt. Staff have obviously not learnt to make coffee

Very very poor service. Tried couple of times, uses very less coffee or chai while making coffee or chai latte. Sometimes very cold or very very hot to burn your mouth. Never recommend. Waste of money

Had a lovely warm muffin and iced coffee to eat in. Both were yummy, but my coffee was served in plastic, with a plastic lid, plastic straw and plastic spoon. I eat in to avoid using wasteful disposable cups.and have a reusable cup in my bag for if I need to take away. Not good enough Muffin Break, especially as you have something about keeping cups out of landfill displayed in your cafe!

The owner told my elderly mother off for putting up her feet on a seat! Despite explaining to him she was in acute back pain. Beside the terrible hygiene with flies always circling around the muffins on display!

Traffic.

Location wise, Westfield Doncaster shopping centre walkway.hence lots of traffic, which is the only drawback in seating down and spending time there. However, always happy to go back here or do take-aways.

Yes, it's quite limited in the Menu department, mostly just those humongous fluffy variety of muffins.

Another plus - Coffees aren't bad either and no extra charge for Soy milk.

Look for end of the day discount too. Simple Happiness.

Over the last couple of weeks going there. Ive been absolutely disgusted with the hygene of the store. For instance:

-one of the girls put a tray of food on the ground while she moved stuff around, when there was a bench next to her to use.

-i've never seen the baker hair in a bun. Hair is either in a ponytail which can still lead to hair in the food or their hair is down.

-evertime i've baught a coffee from there, it's always tasted stale or that something hasnt been cleaned properly.

I've seen a lot of customers get upset at the employees because they either stuff up or is too slow which must be because its unorganized. I've seen 6 people at 1 register trying to work through all the customers without getting anything ready for them. I know if i was working in that situation i'd get extremely stressed.
