Mt Waverley Badminton Centre (MWBC)

Considering the looks of the place its very expensive. $28 for an hour not worth for the quality of the courts. The place has no ventilation or air cons. Very hard to play in summers. Smells very bad and courts are really bad quality.

Very nice place to play badminton with friends.
The courts are clean and comfortable, and the people including the owner of the centre are very nice and professional. The service is brilliant and the hourly rate is reasonable. We play badminton there every Sunday morning.

New management has no idea about sports. Reception lady may be the owner, does not care about players. Extremely rude.

Holy moly terrible customer service:) your staff can just yell at other person and not even calm down for a sec to listen to your customer's needs:) such a disgrace

The centre is clean, comfortable and the owner of the centre is friendly. We play badminton there every Sunday morning

Absolutely a disaster, the new male manager was yelling at me and saying F word to me! Such a rude guy! Very bad customer service. Strongly do not recommend this place!

Great badminton facilities. The stadium has a new look and the service is good. Feels very comfortable to play in.

It’s a total disaster. We had a court booked a week in advanced only for us to show up and get our court cancelled ON THE SPOT for their social. No reaching out to let us know in advance. I do not recommend this place

The staff working on Thursday it’s really nice. He enthusiastically assisted with my racquet issue and allocated me the best string option and provided me awesome service. After researching, I found out that the staff working on Thursday as part of the Yonex stringing team. Really recommend this place.

The quality of the courts was quite bad. Lines were not visible in many courts. And the peak hour rates were too high for my liking.

Been playing for last 6 years. Generally enjoy playing here. However the person who is on the counter on Thursday evenings is very rude to everyone. It’s as if he is doing everyone a favour by coming into work. Anything you ask he says I don’t know and I don’t care. It’s unbelievable he is allowed to work after so many complaints.

The badminton centre is located in an industrial area. There are 6 courts hence court availability is low during non-working hours. Otherwise it's a good place to play with acceptable lighting and facilities. Restringing of racquets and a limited selection of racquet are available.

Haven’t been there and not planning to go either because I just called to inquire about the basic price timing etc and whoever picked up the call needs training on basic phone manners. Behaved like he is the busiest person on the planet earth today. Not sure how they will behave if I go there with my family.

Set of 6 courts. Updated mats & nets. Bookings available off peak but recommended during peak times. Plenty of parking.

Never play at court no. 2 bc it's next to volleyball court without nest separating. No bench for players to put stuff. Toilet room shabby. Environmental culture below expected (from volleyball players at the time we played badminton)

Good place for Badminton although there are some minor cons for eg.low ceiling, not enough changing room.

Nice spot for some casual badminton. Very easy to book over the phone and great customer service. A little shop on the side sells the essentials. It's saved me during some racket grip issues. Toilets need cleaning. It's right down the back of an industrial estate. Easy car parking after business hours (I haven't been during business hours).

The courts are decent and they have some protection against heat however, the restrooms are very very bad and not maintained in forever.

Manager is very accommodating, he restringed my racquet early saturday morning even before the opening time. Highly recommended if you live jear or around the area.

Large number of courts, around 20, needs booking, properly set up for badminton, good light, flooring, enjoy playing every weekend.
