Great little op shop! Volunteers are lovely and there were some great finds here!

Arrived at 9.28am got told they were closed, they open at 9.30am, would have taken them that long to put the trolleys outside.

Just wanted to share my experience at this op shop and my reasons for sharing. I donate from time to time at this op shop. Please remember that most op shops are staffed by volunteers and many op shops like one of the op shops I work at the manager is a volunteer. Some volunteers have been out of the work force a while and rusty in customer service. Managers can be hard to obtain and sometimes keep as well. I volunteer at my op shops to give back to the community and I donate to the MS shop because my mum had MS since I was 13 and though no longer with us when I sold off the last of her orchid collection was proud to give the money to this op shop. Yes people should no be commenting on customers or sighing either I appologise for this happening in an industry to which I am devoted. I am going to be working at 2 op shops 3 days a week as of next week and donating goods today.

I went here in January 2021. There was a decent selection of basic tees that I decided to try on. Someone knocked on the door half way through my change and when I responded "hello? " The customer said "oh, I'll just wait! " But the shop owner let out an exasperated sigh and said "it's always the kids! ". I'm 28 years old, and even if I wasn't a part of their preferred demographic, no customer should ever be judged for using the utilities provided.
I purchased what I wanted regardless of their poor service but I was so embarrassed!
