The more famous Latin party on Thursday, you have to go early if you want go in.
The security people is very strict, maybe this is the only bad thing, I don’t like how they sometimes tell you things.
If you go early you will be available to dance salsa, after that you will have just Bachata and reggaeton.
Thursday is the beer (corona) $5 until 11 pm

The guard was chewing gum. But I am pretty sure, there was no gum in his mouth. What are we, cows now?

This place gets really packed on Thursday’s for Latin night, but it really is good fun. Be advised the queue gets quite long, so it’s best to arrive early. The bars upstairs tend to be a bit quicker with service as well. Overall an enjoyable night.

The bouncers were kicking out every group that dindt have at least 50% of girls with them. Which is absolutely illegal. They made fun of the spanish accent of a friend of mine, bogan racists.

Really cool place, lots of people and Latin music. They have dance classes as well. Have a gd time there

2 hours queuing outside while it was empty in the inside. They let girls enter easily but not guys, even if it is your birthday, they might not let guys enter with you. Shame

The $25 entry fee is ridiculous.you dont even get charged that much at the movies.atleast throw a complimentary drink offer!

The whisky boutique was fantastic! Great prices and service! Didn't get to spend any time in the main area, but looked like it was a good time!

I don't really write reviews on a regular basis, but this was one of the worst experiences at a club I've had in Melbourne. I paid $25 to get in last night, never got a stamp for proof which I should have and was probably my fault for not noticing that. But a guy was harrassing me inside of the club so I went out through the side doors (not the main entrance). Took a few moments then went back in, the bouncer said I needed to get a stamp so I went back to the main entrance to talk to security there. I told them the issue and they wouldn't believe me, and at one point the security guard started saying I was getting belligerent which I wasn't at all. I was just very frustrated with the whole experience and situation, none of the girls that scanned through my ID remembered nor the ones that took my payment, and how could they if they see thousands of faces everyday? When I tried asking security for a manager they said there weren't any. Someone from inside the club with a walkie-talkie in a blue blazer was outside for a moment, he was dismissive and his response was "I stole this from one of the workers". No one intended to help me at all. After trying to talk to several security guards, they all just said "end of discussion" and just ignored me so I ended up leaving. The $25 entry isn't an issue to me, them telling me to pay again and not being helpful about the situation at all was the issue.

Horrible experience. Dismissive staff. Unhelpful with any situation. And honestly I felt like they may have been racist even. I never thought I could be treated so horribly like this.

I usually go to dance classes every Tuesday at 8 pm to Ms Collins and previously I used my Tromba membership card to enter. 13.12.2018 security told me that I have to wait 1 hour because they have private party there and after I stood 30 min in a queue the security told me I can’t enter with this card anymore and I need my ID to visit the class. My evening is spoiled and I spend my time for nothing. Why do they change the rule of visiting dance classes? I feel myself cheated.

I went on Melbourne Cup eve, it was RnB music with lots of well dressed ladies and street clothes for the guys, it is like a club you would find in LA.

Good music, good security, good atmosphere, way too crowded. Need to limit number of people going in

LAME! If I could give zero stars I would, don’t waste your time coming here when there’s so many better places in and around cbd! Save your money and time!

Had an private function upstairs and had great selection of finger food and drinks. Good service when we had 100plus people

If i could I would have put 0 stars we waited more than 2 hours and trust me guys when I said more than 2 hours in line it is what I’m saying at the end was 3am so we decided to go home.
THAT IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I Ever HAD IN MY LIFE.

I hope no one will go in that club anymore and the management and organisation will realise how unprofessional they are.

Been here 2 times and both times the guards were picking on me for wearing glasses and kept calling me a magnifying glass. Each time was a friends bday. Will never return. Do not go here unless you want to get bullied

They did not let me go in the door because I was wearing a shirt. And then a lot of guys went in with shirts

Victoria University used this venue (the Ballroom) for a social event. The food was delicious and could cater to a variety of dietary requirements. The whole place has a really nice set up and vibe, very glam. The staff were professional and helpful in organizing the event and on the event night.

Thursday nights take off here. With $5 Coronas and some Latin dance lessons at the beginning of the night. A perfect place to let loose and have a dance.
