Been here a few times for some hardware and have found Angus and Amy to be extremely helpful with finding items and recommending other options if what I need is not available. They've also given me tips as a new sewist and they've supported me very well. The prices are quite good for their stock. The custom items are a bit on the pricier side but they fix things up for you themselves so that's understandable.

The only downfall I have for M. Rechts is the attitude of the owner and one of the older ladies there. They're very belittling and the owner had no qualms swearing at me over the phone for asking if something was in-stock or how much it was. I understand there is an issue with the system at the moment but I found that extremely unprofessional.

Other than that, M. Rechts is great for finding hardware you require and have a great catalogue. If you go in-store, ask for Amy or Angus. They're absolutely beautiful and will help you to the best of their ability.

Came in to pick up only a french curve and was greeted by a very rude man. Heard him complaining in the back even though i have received an email and call to click and collect the order. Thankfully someone else came to look at the email and got my order for me. The rudeness was very unnecessary and unprofessional. I often shop for supplies here but will definitely think again next time.

My friend accidentally parked her car in this establishment's customer parking (not realising it was specifically for this shop, as we were shopping nearby, the sign saying "customer parking" didn't specify the shop and there was no logo) and our car was literally vandalised by the staff.

Big, branded stickers with slurs and profanities were placed across the side mirrors and windows, telling us to "f- off". This is extremely unprofessional and frankly revolting behaviour from an institution. They vandalised the car and enveloped the mirrors and windows in threatening slurs, making it more difficult for us to leave the establishment- which is what they wanted in the first place. Extremely disgusting and oppressive behaviour coming from a commercial entity, of all places.

Maybe next time let us know or update your parking sign to actually include your logo, instead of plastering the car in unprofessional profanities.

Went to M. Recht Access P/L to help solve a problem. Service was excellent and product knowlegde was great. Happy and professional staff, problem solved. I will be back there again anytime.

Placed an on-line order at M. Recht Accessories, Staff rang to check my order and clarify what I needed. Got the order next day! Wow - what a service!

Buyer Beware. This is an unscrupulous, greedy company. Extremely poor customer service and very dubious management.

Russ and the team have consistently looked after me very well with great products, great prices and incredible service!

Love the family feel of this place and the friendly staff. I have been a regular here for some years now and love the rapport I've built with the staff members. Products are definitely of a higher quality than other places which is why they must have Australia's biggest accounts!

Such a poor experience: (I absolutely love shopping for sewing supplies and equipment and really hope this was just a fluke.

The lady in a puffy north face jacket working at the counter was extremely rude. I was purchasing webbing and when she handed it to me it was in two separate pieces. When I brought this up she said “that’s not my problem”. I asked if I could have one continuous piece and she said if I bought more.

I have worked at fabric stores and have never dismissed such an issue. At the moment my budget for materials is very low and this really impacts my ability to stay in budget. I understand it might be small and insignificant for most people but that’s just not the case for me.

I had very high hopes and was very excited to come here.
