Mr Sam Patten

Had ACL reconstruction on my left knee 3 weeks ago (as a result of workplace assault) with Dr Sam. The entire process was extremely efficient. This was my first major surgery of any kind, and Sam always provided detailed answers to my numerous questions and reassured me numerous times that's it's gonna be ok. My friends told me about their pain after the ACL surgery elsewhere, but i had almost zero pain after the surgery. The admin staff has also been very helpful in dealing with requests for workcover and law enforcement authorities. Would strongly recommend Dr Sam and his team for any kind of orthopaedic consultantion

I have been a Patient of Sam for over 15 years. During this time I have had both hip replacements done, together with a series of operations and subsequent replacement of my left femur due to sporting injuries incurred over my early years.
A couple of times in-between I have developed infections that have required Emergency Operations, and at all times Sam was on hand to fix my problems, even though they happened on weekends and required Emergency attention.
I cannot speak highly enough of Sam for his friendly and attentive help and advice as well as his most supportive and courteous staff who are only too willing to assist you.

My partner Rose asked me to post this review for her that she has written about Mr Patten: " 10/10 to Mr Patten for my total hip replacement in November 2021! I am 62, but having been very active had worn out my left hip! Mr Patten's skills and expertise are in no doubt as I am now able to walk normally and easily with great delight just 9 weeks post op. The hip feels like it "fits" perfectly and the healing of the incision is wonderful and with zero problems. The post-operative hospital supervison by Mr Patten was reassuring, professional and kindly with a great deal of care taken to address my individual needs. (Related to Coealic Disease, multiple food allergies and Fibromyalgia). All needs were addressed with a high level of care despite the challenges of our current times. Another excellent aspect of my experience was the way Mr Patten and his terrific team helped organise the "Rehab at Home" program, which I was able to obtain with my Medibank "Hospital Silver Cover" (no extras). The level of care is related to the surgeon's requests, and Mr Patten made sure that I could manage at home and had excellent physiotherapy and supportive home help too. I highly recommend Mr Patten to anyone. I feel l hit the jackpot! Thank you Mr Patten. "

I don't recommend Sam Pattern, he didnt help my husband and only told him to go see a pain management doctor.
Which I was so angry and thought he was a waist of time.
We went to another specialist and did tests and told us he needed surgery

I had ACL reconstruction surgery done 3 weeks ago by Dr Sam and I now can almost walk normally. The surgery went very well and Sam took a good care of me. Also, as I am with Bupa, I didnt have to pay any out of pocket for Dr Sam and his assistant surgeon, which is a big plus point. Would highly recommend.

This man is brilliant 4 hip replacements by other orthos 25 surgeries multiple infections. Original surgeon walked away as he felt the hip was now to complicated. My husband found Sam.he designed a new prothesis did bone graft and screws 21st of this month my hip will be 12 months old. Sam gave me back my life. Thank you thank you

I had multiple surgerys with surgeons (in country)
I went to a id doctor mr Adrew fuller who looked for a top knee surgeon to help me.
Mr Sam Pattern was the one he recommended.
MR pattern is the best australia wide thank you without you i would not still have my leg.
Would also say from his reception staff to his medical team i highly recommend him to anyone best of luck. Take care.
