Local to Diamond creek and have gotten take away here a few times and enjoyed it. We have a child that is allergic to gluten, never any problem eating there. Went to buy meat and chips last week and was told *this time that the seasoning contains gluten. Very confusing given our son has eaten this before? My partner had been told previously no gluten on the meat seasoning. Guy just seemed annoyed by me asking and inpatient.

Food's OK but inconsistent which is fine for a local chicken shop. I come back here from time to time because the staff are hilariously unfriendly and it cracks me up.

I stumbled this place, while working in this area and I'm glad I did. Salads and chicken were so divine, wish I had this place locally to me.

My partner and I are quite picky eaters, but I can’t fault this chicken shop. I ordered a Spicy Burger, and my partner order the plain burger and it was delicious! The sauces have such a nice flavor, and the customer service here is excellent.

We gave this place another chance today, 2 weeks ago it was barely edible, today was terrible, it’s 11: 45am, how can chicken be so badly dry at this time? ! Chicken is so tasteless. After the 2nd bite of the chicken breast I couldn’t swallow it, I felt as though I’d choke on it, so it all went to the bin. To top it off the gravy and chips were just as bad. No more chances here, spend your hard hard earned elsewhere.

Arrogant proprietor (dark haired male with black rimmed glasses) who thought he was going to dictate what I was going to spend my money on. Obviously chipping away at slowly running his business into the ground along with the jobs of those unfortunate enough to work for him. Customers deserve far better than what he is offering. Do not spend money there.

Best chicken chips ever.
Always get an extra chicken for lunches the next day.
Never disappointed.

Have to say the chook tonight was nearly inedible - very dry/tough. A surprise as normally I have been quite satisfied with their meals.

One of not the best charcoal chicken shops around. Cannot get enough and look forward to eating there whenever I get the chance.

Great food and quality charcoal chicken, always good feed here.
I normally opt for the chicken roll as unlike most places they use fresh chicken and it’s delicious but can’t recall every having bad food so I recommend it.

Service was quick and pleasant.
Chicken burgers were excellent and plenty of salt on the chips.

The food tastes good. However the man with gray hair tried to overcharge me couple of times and when I questioned he pretended that it was a mistake. When I asked for a carry bag he tried to charge me money and then again he pretends it was a joke. Mate if you read this take note. You are ruining a good business. I was a regular and will not return again after this incident.

All i can say is if u want dry tasteless lamb go somewhere else.no flavour on the meat.all the staff dont know how to smile and look as sad as an apple.

They disappointed a new and regular customer. Was deliberately served burnt and dry lamb in gyros recently. Looks like the girls at the kitchen wish to bite the hands that feeds them. Go find a different job and don't spoil local business.

Wow! All I can say about my experience here.
I was served by 2 lovely girls who clearly were well experienced. I over heard there names during conversation when distributing my food TAHLIA + ASH. The food was made to the best possible way. I will continue to come here with lovely experience from them. They deserve a raise with the work done by them. Proud of this local bussiness.

The BBQ Chicken from Mr. Rooster has a beautiful smokey charcoal aroma about it and is always very juicy & tasty. As do the Salads and Chips.
My favorites are, the home made wedges, the lamb souvlaki and the Greek deserts that have been recently added to the menu. (Home made of course by the owner). Best Chicken shop in the North East.

Ridiculously generous with their chips! Now and again under cook them though. Chicken burgers are amazing.

Couldn't give me a wing quarter of chicken with chips. I was told it had to be a leg, because I had to use up the chicken he had left over.
Won't be going back.

Asked for a different part of the chicken which the person serving me thought was fine and started changing it straight away, owner comes out of the back and decides to confront me about it "you wanting the chicken changed means you don't trust us" where as in reality I just prefer a different part of the chicken. Will not be coming back until the business goes under and a better one takes its place.
