Mr. Lee Chinese Restaurant reviews
20 Really good prices for the boxes
And very filling
It took a bit of time to come out but the food was amazing
I'm sharing my experience as a delivery driver for Uber today (27 Jan 2023). I received a pick up from here. I already had another order picked up from another restaurant in my car and time was of the essence. When I arrived at Mr. Lee, the person at the counter told me it's not ready. I said nothing and waited patiently. After 15 minutes of delay, he handed me a parcel and aggressively told me to start delivery. I said, 'No way mate, I'll start it when I get to my car'. I turned around and took a few steps and he suddenly lunged at me and snatched the bag from my hands. I was so shocked and even then, he agressively started yelling at me in front of everyone at the mall. He yelled, "All of you are the same". It was traumatic and humiliating since I am a local at the same shopping center. I request whoever is reading to consider getting your food somewhere else. I suppose the person will see this message and launch a falsified diatribe. I can assure you it is false and video recording from any of the security cameras will confirm my narrative.
Our first experience with Mr Lee was last night.
We got home delivery (noodles and some appetisers) Great portion sizes. Lovely flavoured foods. Was very happy, very impressed. Glad we came across this restaurant.
Thanks. We'll definitely be ordering from here again
The food was awful!
It was cold and tasteless.
Honey chicken was dry.
Never again.
Value for money, fast and efficient. I have tried so many Chinese restaurants in town and find that the first order is great but they will always get worse afterwards. Not this place! Consistency is key and they hit the mark every time.
Ordered, pan fried pork dumplings, fried rice and sizzling Mongolian beef.
Pork dumplings nice enough, lots of dumpling not much pork but ok, fried rice good+,
But the main Mongolian beef, sadly so so baaic, trying not to be nasty. Tasteless sauce and the beef was road kill, which says a very lazy kitchen. Was thinking to try their chicken or pork next time, but not willing to risk it. If a kitchen is lazy.you can decide.
I do a number of posts and always look for the positive,
I really love salt and pepper calamari. Theirs was delicious and generous however what ruined this was the excessive MSG. Taste good however my head and body feel the horrible aching after effects. I also had the fried rice and tofu with vegetables, this was also good and sooo tasty however 3 stars thanks to all that MSG
I dont understand how they can charge a surcharge for eftpos. And the BS is, its different with every Chinese merchant.
We need to look this up at consumer affairs and made to pay this back to every customer
Use to be my goto place but there must have been a chief change as the quality the food has degraded
Got three mains. Honey chicken, Mongolian beef and Korean chilli chicken.
The honey chicken tasted like the smell of a sheering shed, was revolting
Mongolian beef was average, lacked flavour, was warm and the sauce was like goo
The Korean chicken was good, tasty
Wouldn't go back
This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Reservoir and my local go to place for tasty Chinese cuisine, just the way I like it!
Not The Best Chinese I've Had.
Salt and Pepper Calamari Soggy and bland.
Char Teow, with nothing in it just Flat noodles, and some yellow sauce. Not to sure, what that actual dish was.
Fried Rice Very Dry.
Not Happy, won't be going back in a Hurry.
Disappointed.
Half portions serves at very best!
Fried rice was dry. 3 pieces of minute steak in the beef and black bean and sweet and sour chicken was virtually 5 pieces of pop corn chicken. WAY WAY OVERPRICED was hoping for leftovers from a close to $60 order. I’d think in today’s climate they’d want as many people coming back as possible. I won’t be returning very disappointing. DO NOT RECOMMEND
It tastes very bad! Opening food makes me feel like vomiting! Giving me food is not my order! There's a big gap between the pictures and the food! Very disappointment! What the head! Wasting my time and my money! Never ever order again!
Tired their Ma Po Tofu & Special fired rice. Tofu is good, presented with a hot claypot which holds the heat, keeping the chilli oil hot to uplift the hot spicy taste. Fired rice up to standard. Fait price towards their quality.
Today I ordered special fried rice and taste was not divine but definitely a star among the other chiness restaurants nearby. Their portion is absolutely fine. Well worth for the price. Service was quick. Recommended!
Foods good but had to wait 45 minutes for takeaway. Very busy but only 2 staff and they couldn't keep up.
Every time I order delivery my Order gets declined on menu log. If they have no one to deliver the food they should take there business away from menu log.
My family loves Mr Lee Chinese and we order from them when it's lazy dinner night. The quality, taste and freshness of the food is always exceptional. Nothing is ever too oily or over seasoned. Our personal favourites are the satay chicken and special fried rice. The pricing is a little on the higher end for Chinese food but given the consistency of the food it's ok we don't mind paying the price. Highly recommend trying!
Lovely! The food they using are fresh, very tasty! And their hand made soya milk is amazing (is cold but without ice)! Dishes come in a clean plate! Service is good too! Thumbs up!
