Mr Le reviews
40Watch out for this restaurant. Recently, we have ordered curry and fried chicken, food was disgusting and reheated. I have no idea why this restaurant has 4.5 score.
So lucky to have stopped in at Mr Le’s. Delicious chicken and pork rolls and vanilla slice. Friendly staff and clean space. Lots of menu options, definitely recommend!
It’s nice that there’s another eatery in Nhill, but this was honestly a terrible Vietnamese meal. My partner ordered the rice vermicelli with bbq pork and I ordered rice vermicelli with spring rolls. Both our noodles were dry and stuck together like they’d been cooked ages ago, and were topped with only a sprinkling of shredded lettuce and cucumber. Nowhere near a salad like you’d expect. The “bbq pork” was actually pork roast, probably from Christmas, and the spring rolls were the driest and chewiest rolls I’ve ever had. Not a hint of crispness! They must have been cooked and left out all day. Very disappointed in this meal. We’ll stick to Dine In next time!
Looking for somewhere to stop for a sandwich or coffee while you drive through? This is the place.
An excellent pitstop for those driving between Adelaide and Melbourne. Really good Banh Mi (Vietnamese Rolls), try the crispy roast pork. The Almond Croissant was delicious.
For a sweet caffeine hit, order the Vietnamese Coffee (you can ask them to cut back on the condensed milk if you don't want it overly sweet).
Great stop in small country town when travelling Adelaide to Melbourne. Coffee great food all baked on premises friendly staff
Pleasant surprise in small country town. Pepper steak pie was good wish I could of stopped longer to try the Vietnamese cuisine. Bakery & Vietnamese restaurant wow. Staff were lovely
Bloody fantastic Banh Mi.
Only complaint is it was so busy we didn't have time to wait to order pastries.
Will be back
Omg the pork sandwich I had this morning along with 1 party pie, 2 jam rolls and a chocolate milk shake were AMAZING. Will definitely stop in there again next time we go past
This was the best food experience we had on our road trip from Darwin. Completely unexpected, the food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced.
Very happy to find this place after a long drive. Enjoyed the banh mi. Pastry all looks house made. Would encourage some more vegetarian options though.
Ok. Basically a Vietnamese street food restaurant/take away that has good coffee. Don't think it's REALLY a cafe, but maybe I should expand my horizons. It's a small town, after all. Nice alfresco tables with windbreaks. Perfectly fine.
Lovely cafe and very yummy Vietnamese baguettes. The most kind and awesome staff. I really enjoyed my morning brekkie here after driving all night.
We stopped for late lunch on the way back to Melbourne from Barossa valley. We ordered Vietnam salad roll and doughnut cream, taste so tasty and delicious. Highly recommended if you are going or passing Nhill and craving for food.
A real taste of Viet Nam. Having traveled there several times we know what proper Viet food tastes like. Quick excellent service and a huge variety of food choices. We'll be back!
Wow, what a wonderful surprise in this small country town, great, yummy food, also a bakery with lots of bread and cakes, can dine in or take away, very popular at dinner time with locals and travellers, definitely recommend for a feed.
Be prepared for a tourist attraction in its self as this bakery attracts many local and travelers in search of authentic food at an affordable price.
Staff are friendly, establishment has plenty to seating while offering amazing dishes ranging from pho, bahn mi, pastries, pies, sweets and the ever delightful drink - the Vietnamese ice coffee.
My recommendation is the vegetable curry paste - yum yum YUM!
A great lunch find for the Adelaide - Melbourne trip. Friendly, family service, massive selection, delicious fresh rolls that were perfectly balanced and easy to eat. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food, friendly staff. Inside shop was very hot but was very nice eating outside at tables.
