Mr Inspector

I had used Peter's services before and his report was very thorough, not your usual standard report that every apprentice can complete. His photos helped me understand how my roof looks like, and the condition of the timber up there. So, I engaged him again and this time I happened to be present during the inspection. Doug was so very helpful and patient with all my questions. He explained what was - or wasn't - a concern and why, and how to remediate it. Quite incredibly, Doug found a microscopic hole in the grout of my brand-new bathroom floor of the size of a pin!? (Already arranged to be fixed by the tiler) I have a small and very reasonable list of repairs that will give me peace of mind. I'd strongly recommend Mr Inspector / SafeHome, Peter and Doug, and will use them again!

I definitely recommend using Mr Inspector for your building and pest inspections. They organised to do the inspection and had the report to us in just a few days. The report itself was extremely detailled, around 90 pages in total including photos of any area of concern being it major or minor. A few of the issues they identified we flagged with the real estate agent and were able to be rectified prior to sale.

The real estate agenct mentioned to us they were there a lot longer than most other building inspectors they've seen before. The agent also mentioned that some other people interested in the house had reached out to try and buy our report at a reduced price, but were told they would have to pay full price. Given we had paid full price to get the inspection done, I would be very annoyed if someone competing with us for the same property then obtained the report much cheaper.

The Mr Inspector team have been so thorough, helpful and patient with all our questions after each of the 3 house inspections that they did for us. Their careful examination of the last property gave us great confidence to purchase the property. We, hopefully, wont need to call on them again for at least another 10 years but will happily recommend Peter's team to anyone wanting to make an informed decision about the home they want to live in.

The inspection conducted by Paul and report received on the same day (within few hours). Very detailed report. Paul is a lovely guy, Had a great chat with him, he explained to me the findings and his professional views. I am so glad that getting the property inspected by him.

Peter has been our go-to inspector for our pre-purchase property inspections since our first home. His reports have been comprehensive + thorough and we've always appreciated his quick response / turnaround times. Of course, I do envy his career sometimes cause he has a dog who occupies him and likes being in the photos from time to time whilst on the job.

We had a building and pest inspection for a property we were considering buying, and were so impressed with the service. Not only did Paul point out several serious issues that we hadn't noticed, he also educated us on things we should look for when we're inspecting properties in the future. We left the inspection feeling like he saved us from making a huge purchase that we would have later regretted!

Despite covid making everything difficult, Peter made the experience of getting a property inspected super easy. He quickly communicated with the agent, got into the house and sent us an awesome report. He then spent time after hours talking us through his results and advising us on the upcoming auction. We went to auction with the full confidence that a thorough report gives. We knew what kind of costs we would be facing if we won the property. These guys are amazing, we had 3 building inspections done by them and every time they gave us detailed breakdowns (with photos) that we could call and be talked through. All dumb/naive/cheeky questions answered with patience and expertise. There is nothing they could do to improve I unreservedly recommend them!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! They deserve 10 stars! Best building inspector! I called them just two days before the auction, I was super anxious that I couldn't get anyone to do the inspection, and I don't know anything about it. But Peter is really friendly, he nicely and patiently explained to me what should I do, and Doug acted super fast next day and gave us a fantastic, very detailed report. Great job guys!

I would highly recommended Mr Inspector. Within 24 hours everything was completed! The communication was perfect and report was thorough and detailed. Peter was also available afterwards to explain a few things on the phone which was great.

Peter and Doug helped us with a Property Inspection last week. I called on Friday morning and had the report by Friday evening. Their service was very prompt, very friendly and very efficient.
