I was craving something savoury so a friend suggested me this place for its NZ pies and donuts. Went in and met and was greeted by the owner very nice man. First I ordered a sausage roll but they weren't ready yet so I said I'll wait. So I tried for the first time a NZ steak and cheese meat pie.

Now the thing is people always say NZ pies are the best so I had to see what the fuss was about. So I took a bite and the pie was warm not hot which is good thing for me but also a bad thing because aussie pies have to burn your mouth haha. But it was an OK pie wasn't better than the aussie pies I've had over the years.

Next was the sausage roll which came out piping hot out the oven. I had a bite and the sausage roll was nice it just had meat and seasoning. Aussie sausage rolls just hit different for me because they add more fillings like carrots, onion and this just had meat and seasoning. So it was tasty but not better than an aussie sausage roll.

So that settles it for me. Aussies still in my opinion have better pies and sausage rolls. But NZ you passed for me good job 7/10

I recommend you give this place a try I will be back to give something else a try because he had alot of variety.

P. S I got a 6 pack of donuts but I don't eat sweets so I'll let my wife try it and get back to you guys.

Recently ordered on uber eats and I tried to leave a review but I missed out lol. I dont usually leave reviews but I just HAD TO! These are hands down the best donuts in the area! So fresh and fluffy and delicious especially the eclairs WOW the absolute best I got them late at night too and was surprised they were still so fresh, definitely recommend and definitely will continue to buy from here!

A lot of Donuts on website but not available in store, 4 donuts not available, very disappointing, second week in a row, was going after work today but chose not to as don’t want to be disappointed again, try again in a couple of weeks

1st of all. I have been getting donuts from here for a long time. The donuts have always been good.
Yesterday I got a 6 pack of donuts. All 3 of the lemon meringue donuts were extremely stale and couldn’t be eaten.
I called the store this morning to advise and was constantly spoken over the top of and the lady wouldn’t listen to what I had to say other than all our donuts are fresh. Asked to speak to the manager who called back and she did the same thing. Instead of listening to what I had to say she just kept interrupting me. I guess the staff and managers here just don’t care about stale donuts.

Very friendly staff. Nice and fresh donuts. Price is reasonable compared to other stores. I usually order a box of 6 donuts through Menulog late night and they sometimes give me extra donuts or a slice of cake. That’s amazing. My favorite donuts are Almond custard and lamington with fresh cream and jam.

Freshly baked donuts every time we walk in, friendly customer service and great pricing. I would recommend Mr G's Donuts if you're craving some quality donuts.

Very great store, staff are very friendly. Each time I order from the store I feel welcome and the doughnuts are great. One time I ordered and wrote an odd request and they followed it, even writing a kind message.

Great doughnuts, better than Daniels. Made fresh on site. If you ask nice and it's late afternoon they can make you hot jam doughnuts. They are next level. Good Pies and at $17 for 6 doughnuts its cheaper than Daniels.

Amazing donuts, with a variety of flavours to choose from, great coffee and the staff are absolutely lovely. I also like that the place has both indoor and outdoor seating available and hot food. Thank you Mr. G's for always providing such a wonderful experience

Located in a humble roadside shop, Mr G's are the best and freshest doughnuts in the area - sinking your teeth into one is like biting into a sumptuous, flavoursome cloud.

I ordered 2 coffees this morning via Menulog. I felt like someone spat in my coffee or they used Nespresso pods. So disappointed.i've oredered 3-4 times but will never order from here again. I've told my workers too.

An outstanding range of beautiful donuts, pies and slices. Great tasting and memorable. Can't get enough of their NZ style steak and cheese pies. Normally I get it delivered over Menulog. The one time I went in there, I got served by a very friendly staff member. Very good customer server. Would recommend them to everyone. Thanks!

Only commenting on the meat pies because that's all I buy here. They are top notch and the range is quite good.

Absolutely amazing service! Best I’ve had in a while and the donuts are sooo fresh and delicious! Definitely worth going out of your way for!
