30Nice cafe tucked away in a small suburban shopping strip. Good food and drinks, lots of outdoor dog friendly seating. Some gluten free options available.
The crispy chicken burger is a cracker, & one of the best on the peninsula! Magnificent every time! Always nice to sit outside with a coffee too
Lovely food, (I had the bruschetta with tofu) friendly staff and my dog was able to share the experience. Really great vibe too.
Had heard positive things so thought I’d give it a go. Walked in behind a couple who the waitress seated. Stood there for 5 minutes as nobody acknowledged me, finally asked the waitress if I should just take a seat. She was apologetic and said she thought i was waiting for something. Fair enough, it happens. Took a seat outside and another waitress came out, gave me a menu and some water and then walked off without so much as uttering one word to me. 15-20 minutes later I’m still sitting outside and nobody comes to take my order. Am I meant to order inside? The menu doesn’t say to and the waitresses didn’t speak to me so I guess I’ll never know. I got up and left to go next door to flourish and enjoyed a BLT!
Have been coming for years but has gone off the boil. Most recent visit was very disappointing and service was terrible. Forgot to deliver part of one of breakfast items and we told the server who promptly did zero about it. Had to get a second staff member to deal with it
Quite disappointing unfortunately. Chocolate croissant was at best yesterdays, maybe the day before while chocolate brownie was kind of soggy. Coffee was nice as were the staff.
Great spot, whether you're looking for a coffee, brunch or even an evening drink. Also walking distance to a couple of small playgrounds, and close to Sweetwater Creek.
Good coffee nice selection of cakes. Plenty of outdoor seating with shady trees and unbrellas
Had a gorgeous breakfast at Mr Frankie this morning. Food and drinks were fresh and quality - could not fault. Staff were friendly and efficient - special shout out to Kyle for going above and beyond. Service was fast and prices reasonable. We will definitely be back.
Like any good cafe, the coffee was great.
What really impressed me was the haloumi and onion ring BURGER!
Nothing like finding a good cafe in your own neighbourhood.im looking to trying the chicken burger next time.
Great ambience! Menu is interesting and the staff are friendly. Just wish I could get a "hot" hot chocolate for once.it is always lukewarm, tasting like a warm chocolate milk!
Dismal. The photo on the menu was nothing like the meal that was put in front of me. A dismal half serve. Very unimpressed
When questioned, the waiter said … we’ll, they’re the same ingredients…!? !? Really?
The chicken burger was amazing! So tasty. The chicken was not dry at all. The bun was perfectly sweetened and the sauce and everything inside went really well together. Service was great and we had the choice to order via a QR code and pay seperately in a group.
Mother’s Day brunch was brilliant. Something for everyone in our 3 generations. Avo smash was spectacular as was the Chicken burger. Chips for kids done to perfection. Thanks for making the day special. Loved the beautiful flower touch on each table.
Excellent (and very busy) little neighbourhood cafe. Has pretty much singlehandedly transformed the area. The chicken burger is fantastic!
Mother’s Day breakfast booking and limited menu, which was understandable as place was full. Ordering was at table via QR code however food came out at different times, with some finishing their food before others had received theirs. Toast was rock hard and cold and some other minor issues with orders, however as mentioned, the place was packed. Extra $6 for two tiny rashers of bacon and $5 for the smallest serving of avocado is a joke though. Wait staff were great, which was the only plus to be honest. Second time here and previous outing was marginally better. Won’t be returning.
Great venue, great food, very clean and welcoming. Family friendly and it was PACKED. Great signs all round what more could you want
It was disgusting. Toasted cheese sandwich was disgraceful for nine dollars and the scrambled eggs were cold. Won't go back there again!
Lovely coffee place and great food! The chicken burger was amazing the sauce was so delicious and the chips are really crispy! Plus the food is very quick as well
Mr Frankie is a breakfast and lunch cafe offering a variety of unique meals and drinks. We tried their crispy chicken burger and berry compote crumpets when we visited, both of which were delicious! The place was clean and staff were very friendly. Definitely a hidden gem in Frankston South and a cafe worth visiting.
