Mr and Mrs Pizza (Al's Place Returns) reviews
73 There is absolutely pizza shop in Melbourne with the flavour and consistency of this place. No matter what your favourite is, it will be amazing.
Al is a wizard making pizza. He has been doing it for a long time and it shows. Not only that but he has fantastic customer service which ensures a huge loyal customer base!
Best pizzas in the Eastern Suburbs.
My husband and I moved to lilydale and I often drop past after work on my way home so that we can get pizza there.the owner Al has been a huge part of the Vermont community for years. Alot of us grew up going to school and then dropping past on our way home to meet up and have a bite to eat with our friends. So happy to see him back in the east. Al's community spirit is that of country hospitality. He even wrote a congratulations message on our pizza 2 years ago when he saw that myself and my husband (another local) were engaged on Facebook. Hard work, community spirit and a talent for tasty pizza's are why Mr and Mrs Pizza is so awesome!
My favourite pizza place in the East by far! Al and Katie (Mr and Mrs Pizza) are super friendly and love getting to know their regulars and their orders. Great prices and generous amounts of toppings. Highly recommended!
Great pizza, quality toppings and base, friendly service and extremely convenient. Many thanks!
This is the worst pizza I have ever had. The place is FILTHY. The pizza maker doesn't wear gloves, and didn't even wash his hands before making a pizza.
The pizza is messy, made poorly, and CHEAP ingredients.
I couldn't even eat my pizza after knowing he wasn't taking the necessary hygiene measures considering the times we're in. Not to mention the egg was still raw on my Aussie.
A friend introducted me to this place recently. They serve great pizza that rivals domino’s. Its offically now my go to pizza place.
I've been buying pizzas from Al's since he started a big daddy's franchise over 20 years ago, being a local for most of my life, the weekly pizza has always been a tradition, even after moving out of the area I happily drive just to get a Mr and Mrs Pizza as I know their quality and freshness are unmatched. Now that i work 3 mins away the choice is simple on the way home for dinner. Keep up the amazing Pizza!
First time ordering from here and it was great, the gluten free pizza base was wonderful and they accommodated to the toppings I wanted
Welcome back guys! As a local to Vermont, Al’s was our go to back in the day. It just hasn’t been the same since! We’re so glad Al is back making ripper pizzas. I’m loving the Louisiana! The turn over time from order to pick up is also phenomenal! Fantastic service! Keep it up guys!
Pizza had strange taste. The dough was hard on the bottom and raw on the top. Cheap tasting toppings.
I've lived in the area for over 25years, if you've tried the rest, try the best pizzas in Eastern Suburbs, cheap prices, super fast making the pizzas in under 10-mins, fresh ingredients. While you're waiting the owner has a good chat, really cares about making your pizza experience unforgettable.
This guy serious knows how to pizza.
Generous toppings, consistently good pizza at a great price, pumped out like delicious high speed clockwork. If you're anywhere nearby, this place is well worth a try.
Great to have you back!
We drove 45 minutes to eat Al's pizza - should be a good indication of just how good the pizza is!
