Mountfords Shoes

Lots of shockingly bad reviews here but I had a lovely experience today (a Monday). Both girls there were being attentive to all the customers and Hope, who helped me, was super helpful, patient and friendly. Shop is small compared to other Mountfords but I found what I needed!

I just purchased a pair of shoes for my work. I do alot of walking through my shift. I need a very comfortable shoe. The staff was very helpful in helping me with making the right selection of shoe for me needs.

Tuesday afternoon, there was just me and the other lady customer in the store, few shopkeepers, but none of them bother to say hi to me or ask if i need a hand. Even i had to grab one of the girls and told her myself that i needed a help with the items i was looking for, when she was busy checking on me from head to toe.

The staff made creepy references about my son's feet, how it is their "dream" to work with children's feet, but they're not allowed.

Additionally, the staff became aggressive and rude when I asked for shoes not made in China. Absolutely miserable experience, will never return.

This place won’t accept a legitimate vaccine exemption. It’s illegal and will be taken further.

The sales assistant who works on Sunday was completely rude. This isn't the job for her if she can't be civil to customers. She didn't accept that I was exempt from wearing a mask. She then did not accept my Vaccine passport which was in my wallet claiming it had to be linked to my check in app.
This does not work on my phone and is an issue with older phones.
What a miserable person. She needs lessons in customer service.
Mountfords shoes need to address the attitude of this miserable staff member.

Went in today to buy a number of shoes and boot got a very very rude and opinionated sales person. Needless to say I left would not go into this store again, they lost a customer and a lot of money

While I browsed the shoes the friendly staff member commented about "so many to choose from", so when I picked a couple, and then a third, then a fourth, I was disappointed they had nothing in my size. Size 10. Such an uncommon size.

Love Mountfords Camberwell. Provided a friendly service, had stock and styles I was interested and there was a sale on. Win Win

We shop a few times a year at Mountfords Camberwell shop. We always find great products, great prices and great service. Both of us have wide feet and wear arch support. The staff is always helpful to find the right pairs. Hence we will be back soon!

I wanted Rockport Prowalkers and rang with an inquiry; sales assistant very helpful in advising about Rockport stock. In the store, I was assisted by Agnia, who was fantastic and located some Rockport shoes that were to my taste and budget. Agnia provided 'old fashioned service' you rarely encounter these days, helping me fit the shoes and seeing if they suited me, then retrieving others from the storeroom. Well done, Agnia!

Bought Josef Sebiel scuffs. Not Mountfords fault. Expensive but very poor quality soles that cracked and split. I only gently wore them around the home.
Will not buy recommend to anyone.

Staff at this store are really helpful, Mountfords is not a cheap store so you will pay a lot for your shoes but the quality is good.

I was searching for a pair of boots recently and walked into the massive selection of boots that were on sale at Mountfords. After trying on a few pairs, the lovely lady who was serving me suggested that I try on the same ones that she was wearing. To cut a long story short, I loved them but they didn't have my size in store so I ordered and had them sent to me directly. They are the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned and was very happy with the friendly service that I received. Many thanks:)
