Mountfords Shoes

Went in today to return a pair I bought online and was very impressed with ANGIE (Angelina). She turned out to be an absolute treasure and went out of her way to help me with finding shoes for myself. Have not had someone this helpful here ever since the old staff were replaced by unhelpful & even uninterested sales assistants. Happy to see you have finally found someone that makes the effort to offer excellent customer service. I walked out with 2 additional pairs though my size is not easy to find. Thank you so much, Angie. I do hope to see you on my next visit. 5 stars to you!

Would like to thank Anastasia who took wonderful care of my 90yr old Mum. Nothing was too much trouble. Anastasia was professional, kind & respectful. Will definitely shop here again when the service is this helpful.

Lots of shoe labels to choose from, if you have a favourite. Plenty of places to sit and try on, and it's a bright and lovely store.

Actually these type of behaviour is quite consistent everytime I walk in that store.
This aged female staff looked like she's in the wrong place with with wrong outfit, she should be at a house wife party with that level of grumpiness and arrogance.
Strongly recommend few shops NEXT DOOR - Paul Caroll, they have much fashionable products and properly trained staff. I bought 2 pairs from them.

Do not expect any sign of understanding if you ring for advice about very hard to fit feet. I was intending to go to this store, but will not do so now as the person who answered the phone was cold and completely unfeeling even when I was almost in tears at my dilemma. She obviously did not even want to consider helping me with any kind of advice - clearly I am in the "too hard basket" - my business will go elsewhere - pity - shoes for my particular type of feet are very expensive - their loss!

Rude and dismissive - non-existent customer service.

Walked into the store on a quiet Saturday afternoon (24/04/2021), not busy in the store with one staff member. My partner recommended the brand so I wanted to try some boots. The sales woman gave me an impatient look and told me to wait where she was typing at the register. She finished what she was doing and saw me waiting. She said I'll be with you in a minute and proceeded to walk pass me and went to chat with other customers who were trying on shoes. 5 more minutes later she was still chit-chatting, showed no sign of wanting to help or acknowledging that I was there. We gave up and walked out.

Terrible customer service from beginning to end. Rude and dismissive, Can't help but to think it was racially related - she was friendly with the Caucasian customers there and we are of Asian ethnicity.

Rest assured I will never buy any products from any of your stores and will make sure my friends and family know about this as well.

Disappointed that I drove all the way here as the website says they are open until 9pm. Clearly they are not!

Large range of women's shoes. If you want comfort, Mountfords is a great place to shop however, the shoes can be expensive. During sales you can get some great bargains. We were here mid January and there were loads of shoes on sale. Didn't find staff to be particularly helpful or friendly, which was a pity.

Walked in on a lazy Sunday, no other customers and only 1 staff. My wife saw and liked a pair of shoes on the shelf very much and decided to try. She had some difficulty in pulling out the paper ball in the shoe. The staff saw but looked away, didn't move from her position 4 metres away. Wife put the shoes back and walked out. Zero service hence should deserve ZERO stars if I could. So zero sales.
