Mountbatten Retreat reviews
3 Perfect positioning within Bright. We do not have a dog, but we do have a child of 1 yr. We did not have to worry about too much being within his reach, which was great. I took some of his toys but never got them out because there was plenty in the house for him to play with. The house is clean and comfortable. The master bed is SO comfortable. The fire is Fab and the grill about it is great if you are worried about little fingers or paws getting too close to the fire. The house is a great base from which to go out exploring.
Bright itself is very pretty with lots of eateries and places to have a nice drink. We ate in most nights (the kitchen/house has everything you need in the way of appliances, utensils, crockery and cutlery). We did try the brewery, which was lovely and welcoming. There are so many great walks and bike rides in the area, as well as it being fairly close to the snow.
We hope to return to the house to stay again and, perhaps, even make it annual thing.
I really can't knock it.
Great property in a fantastic location and the property crew and just a phone call away. Bonus that we could bring our dogs.
Great residence and location. Everything so well maintained, and very thoughtful. Short walk to town. Beautiful part of the world. Day trip up to mt buffalo in the snow a highlight. Enjoyed the brewery too.
