Mount Waverley Secondary College Senior Campus

Some teacher are very nice but I don’t think every teacher give enough help for their students.when I’m at that school.they don’t have any psychological help. Their are much more things this school should improve.

This school has great programs and plenty of opportunities to participant in many activities. It has two campuses. Yr 7 - 8 on Junior site and Yr 9 - 12 on Senior site. Teachers here are lovely. Outstanding student support. MWSC has provided alot of support to my children throughout the years and with a diverse community, this is an amazing place for students to be. Please ignore the fake reviews on bullying and racist remarks, its kids being silly. Go on a tour and see for yourself.

Worst school possible. Beth Johnston is the most vile, nasty, and disgusting coordinator this school has ever had. She is extremely big and has no self control. This school is full of bullies, really bad ones. Every parent I have spoken to has mentioned how bad Beth is as a human being, she should not be in the position she is. And Yea Na don't bother enrolling here.

Beth Johnston, Year 12 Coordinator might be a person with determination. She should seek help and not be in the position she is. Fire her she is not fit to be in any position at any school. Beth = special needs autism

Terrible school, Learning environment sucks do not come here.oh and they always block off the toliets actual human rights violation cant even take a piss anymore.

Toilets are in very bad state. The whole school needs a major upgrade. Traffic at pick-up and drop-off just horrendous.
August 2023 update. Toilets are even worse now, if that is even possible. Ammonia odour from perpetually unclean toilets stings eyes and nasal passages, and clearly unsuitable to students! What happened to this school? The loos are worse than the ones from Timbuktu. Just shocking from the Education State. Photos to follow soon.

The school is known for bullying and harresment case. Instead of rectifying, the principal and higher up decided to cover up the issues. Be mindful it you're decided to send your kids to the school and ask the principal about the bullying cases.

I ve just been reading the reviews as a friend was asking about schools near by, my daughter went there for one year quite a a while ago. I t would seem from the reviews nothing much has changed and thats the disappointment. Things go wrong, policies can change along with teachers but it seems no real advancements have been made here

There are plenty of schools that have strong names and they continue such as Mc kinnon and Balwyn, Camberwell so thers no excuse

I attended Mount Waverley High school between 1985 to 1987 and had the honour of being the most hated student on campus! Even the teachers hated me. Mr Irwin thought I was the A grade malaka. He was racist I was bullied constantly. No one ever came to help. I was lunchtime entertainment. The bully became a success in life and I became a failure

One of the great school in the South Eastern. On the weekend it is used by the Xin Jin San Chinese school to run Chinese class.
My son attended the Chinese class over the weekend in this school.
Parking is always a problem during pick up and drop off.
The school is under go a renovation at the moment, so the basketball court is not accessible. I used to enjoy a 15 mins practice session with my son before his class.

The school says they have high values and respect, however this is respectfully not true. The racism and hate that some teachers use to control teachers is shocking, I as a ex-student would like to warn parents, guardians and mainly students of many racist teachers in the school and how they could prepare for a racist attack, it's real, it has happened to me before. Les Mullens is a main threat and a harm to society, many students I know have being targeted. The school says they have great respect and much more but it's not true. To summarize everything some teachers have respect and some simply don't. It is absolutely shocking at how unacceptable this school is and I hope all the teachers that have respect for students and treat students with a normal level of respect stay at the school, but for all the teachers that thought they could use racism to control students I hope they leave and never come back. Many ex-students like myself our stunned by the appealing manners of this school.

It's a really good school. I went there many years ago and made some life long friends. Has some good teachers as well.
However I really don't like how they treat ESL students. Why on earth do we have to stay back until 3pm every day when other non-ESL students (who are really dumb and don't care about school) get to go home early like around 12.30pm? Yes some of us have limited English skills but doesn't mean that its so bad that we need extra classes. Moreoever we always score one of the highest ATAR score in the school and would have at least half ESL students in the top 10. Maybe they should consider sending the other non-ESL students who are always skipping classes and getting poor grades for extra classes instead.
Maybe this has changed recently and ESL students get to go home early now, if not it needs to be sorted quickly.

Teachers are always racist and treating students unfairly. Every class this happens to my daughter and they always just threaten her when she is in her maths class. The teacher doesn't even teach the class and many people in my daughters class agreed with that. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!

It was Racism to Asian student on the School Photo day 10/03/2022. While other student could have a look at the photos and retaken photos, the Asian student asked the photographer for a look at the photos but the photographer said NO. This is not right.

All the teachers there are actually really hardworking and have a positive mindset in pursuing high achievement and striving for excellence. Every time you have question that you are unsure of they are generally quite patient and are willing to answer.
