My two boys went to this primary school. All of the class teachers were very supportive to my children and encouraged them to flourish. The feedback from them was excellent. The school has a Dynamic and very knowledgeable principal.

Our children are through Primary School but while there, experienced Natalie Grieve operating at a very high level. Personable outside the school as well.

My children attended Mount Waverley North Primary School for over 2 years before we moved interstate. The school has a wonderful community and the staff are exceptional. Natalie Grieve, the Principal, is an exceptional leader and an amazing support to parents. The teachers my children had were wonderful, nurturing and caring. The administration team (Trish & Trisha) were always such a pleasure to deal with and always so helpful. I highly recommend Mount Waverley North Primary School.

We toured 6 schools in Mount Waverley and after seeing them all, our gut feeling was to go with MWNPS. It has been the best decision we've made for our kid's education. The school has great facilities and a small population with small class sizes. The principal Natalie Grieve and assistant principal Andrew James were warm, friendly and very welcoming and this has not changed since we enrolled our son into Prep for 2021. The office staff are all very helpful and friendly people along with the teaching staff. The prep teachers have done a remarkable job teaching online during lockdown as well as in school. The online curriculum is easy to follow (as a parent) and very engaging for the kids with multiple live group sessions and teacher check-ins. Very impressed so far and happy to be part of such a great school community!

It was an ok school. There was people who were very mean and bulled one of my best friends. There teachers there are kind and caring. But they not really help u if u need it they kinder just help but they not do anything else. They just do the same thing again and again. But I did find friends who are going to be my bff and some of the teachers are so kind and are sure good people. I think there is a better school out there.

Our children are through Primary School but have seen the principal, Natalie Grieve, on the Exec Team at a different school and she was exceptional.

We moved our daughter here in grade five from another local school she had attended since kinder. This has been the best move we ever made for her. The school is a vibrant and happy place. The children are taught respect and are given boundaries for behaviour. The staff are exceptional and enthusiastic. They are genuinely interested in education and the kids as opposed to it just being a job. The principal team are professional, approachable and lead by example which is reflected in the students behaviour. They are exceptionally knowledgeable, and experienced. The staff in the school office are welcoming, kind and go above and beyond to help parents and the kids. The methods of teaching and in particular the approach to teaching English is far more up to date than other schools with more focus on understanding spelling rules and sounds instead of learning spelling words by memory. MWNPS is an exceptional school with an inclusive community, our only regret is not moving our daughter earlier.

Awesome primary school. Sad a lot of the cool stuff, such as the concert being replaced by a production, happened after I graduated: ’)

MTWN is absolutely outstanding. Naplan academic success, multicultural/ social inclusiveness for all, fantastic sporting activities, excursions & camps. From the onset, the staff are true professionals, who really understand all aspects of education to achieve the best outcome for each child. I am delighted daily with the wonderful activities & academic challenges our children are supported to achieve. We are all so happy.

All three of our children attended MWNPS and it was fantastic. It is a beautiful little community and the teaching staff are second to none. Each child is valued and the school community encompasses the whole family, not just the students. Our youngest is now in High School and I miss being a part of the MWNPS community. Our children thrived there.

Moved out son here - wishes I'd done it years ago. Learning tons and never been happier with a principal team and teachers who clearly love what they do.

Small school with a great community. My kids love it here! We chose this school after much careful consideration even though it is a lot further drive than many other schools.

The classrooms are open planned with special wet areas so the students can do art and science work in the same classroom as everything else. They also have all relevant library material in the centre of each class so no need to leave room to access the library. Relaxation areas with beanbags in one corner of the class, team building and workshop desks in another, smart boards and desks so students work together make their approach to learning very appealing.

The teachers are very encouraging and helpful, in fact they tailor the learning experience to the child by finding out what interests the student has and making the subject suit.

The community aspect is very rare for a city school in that they actively engage with parents and encourage cleaning bees, get assistance in class, help with general maintenance and host afternoons to meet other parents. Makes this school inclusive and a feeling of giving back to your school and community.

I have 2 children at this school. My children have had excellent teachers and we enjoy the great community feel at the school. The classrooms are large and recently renovated. The school offers interesting and engaging learning experiences for all of the children as well as many extra curricular activities and cultural clubs.

All my children have been attending this school for their primary years. This is a great small school with warm school community. The students have come from diverse cultural background and the school has put lots of effort in embracing all cultures. Most of the teachers that my children had are very caring and devoting. My daughter and son are so keen to go to school each day even when they are feeling unwell. Life is not perfect and there have been issues and conflicts which are normal along with any child's school life. I am happy that all these have been attended by school and resolved with a win-win solution. Academically the school is picking up and working hard but it also comes with many extra curricular activities thanks to the teachers volunteering their time organising all these.
