Lots of options for everyone. Museum downstairs along with a kids Air Zone for those looking for some trampoline and rock climbing fun. Basketball courts downstairs along with public bathrooms.

Alpine central has a couple fun idea for self guided hikes, frisbee golf course and lists the local shops that are open for the summer holidays.

While there were enjoyable moments, I encountered a few concerns that I believe need to be addressed for a better visitor experience.

Ticketing Staff:
The ticketing staff left me a bit disappointed. When I picked up Ski School tickets for my kids, I asked them about the assembly point, but they seemed clueless and couldn't provide the necessary information. It would be great if the staff were better informed and able to assist visitors with such queries.

Car Park Staff:
I had a not-so-pleasant encounter with the car park staff. They were a bit rude and didn't let us choose our preferred car park. It's a shame that they weren't more flexible and approachable. I understand there were many cars getting in, but they didn't need to be rude.

Slope Conditions and Safety:
The Howqua slope was a big letdown. It was icy, bumpy, and seemed like it hadn't been groomed properly. Many people were struggling and falling on their way to the Howqua chair. Unfortunately, my wife had a collision with someone, resulting in cuts on her hands. It was quite upsetting and could have been avoided if the slope had been closed or better maintained. To make matters worse, when we approached the ski patrol station, they seemed overwhelmed and too busy to provide proper care. They merely handed us a couple of bandages without even offering to help clean the cuts. It was disheartening and left us feeling neglected during a moment of distress.

Ski Lift Queue Management:
Another issue we encountered was the lack of staff to manage the queues for the ski lifts. The queues were often congested with an excessive number of people. It was disheartening to witness instances of queue jumping and abuse of the single/ski school queues. A more robust staff presence, coupled with clear guidelines and enforcement, would greatly improve the flow and fairness of the queue system.

Overall, while there were some enjoyable aspects of the time at Mt Buller Ski Resort, these concerns did impact our overall experience. I hope that the resort management takes these feedback points seriously and considers implementing improvements in staff training, customer service, slope maintenance, ski patrol responsiveness, and ski lift queue management.

Mount Buller is a must visit place when in winter. It was a nice experience visiting there. I visited two different month in a same year and got to experience two different vibes. When it was snowing and when it is sunny. I like both the times and enjoyed a lot. This is a must visit place if you visit Victoria in winter season.

The drive up the mountain is breathtaking, however there is need to concentrate when driving due to sharp curves on the way to the summit

Three plus hours drive from CBD. Amazing snow! Great place to take kids to. Recommend to avoid school holiday periods. Stay on the mountain will save tones of time, but very costly. Stay one hour drive away at Noojee is more economical if you drive your own car. Great cafes with breakfast. A grocery shop in the village basically have everything you need, super convenient and price is reasonable. Buller is the biggest snow mountain and has plenty trails for beginners! Highly recommended to do training course for both adult and kids to stay safe.

Excellent fun.
Great service.
Food was ridiculously expensive. Really bad to pay $45 per head for basic hot food in meagre quantities.

I had the most amazing day there today. Yes the weather was perfect but, the place was packed. Which I loved. The lift lines were busy but everyone was in such a good mood it didn’t matter. The snow was in great shape and summit and south side for me were the treat!

I hired from altitude and I highly recommend them. I did everything online before hand which I Highly Recommend as well.

Mangement is really bad, traffic controller ask evey vehicle as close as hard to open the door. The explain is can fit more big vehicles in bus area. We pay the ticket, you want to every one park the vehicle as close as they can. As the result,my vehicle body got damage by some one open their door. We pay on entry ticket, but they do pay attention on look after our vehicle. That should not happened if they give little be space for each large vehicle which they park at bus area. We have pay the money to fix the car from my pocket. Really bad service and conmunication.

It was great to visit but way too crowded. No one was following queue system and that made it frustrating and chaotic to say the least.

Snow play area next to the village is not maintained well. They have equipment to supplement snow, but for some reason they prefer not to and let people to play in the mud. Not sure about their policy on this But the snow play area near day parking is maintained well.

All the brochures mention variety and diversity of food including halal options, but none of the village restaurants offer any halal option (except grocery store)

Overall, the location is easy to access znd there many activities including ski lessons for kids. It worth going there and enjoying the facities and snow.

Dust everywhere under side tables etc. Not being precious, but at $150 a night, it's not that hard. Two nights stay and no attention to room other than towels changed, yep and biscuits.
