Mount Beauty Visitor Information Centre reviews
13Surprisingly excellent! They have a wealth of information about the area that most tourists couldn't imagine. From the indigenous heritage, to the Gold mining times to the hydro electric system that was the reason the town was formed. A real eye opener. Excellent displays and a very helpful lady behind the desk.
Friendly staff welcomed me before opening hours, gave advice on walk to take before opening door

Make sure you drop in here if you're visiting Mount Beauty. Diorama on the hydro electricity grid. Lots of history about the local area on boards to read and displays of historical items. Friendly staff to answer questions.
