I love their avocado fruit cocktail with the ashta on top! Absolutely delicious. It would be really useful for those not familiar with the traditional sweets to have some sort of menu with pictures and name of the sweets so we can learn more about it

An absolutely incredible shop for sweets and Middle Eastern desserts! The harisaa with Ashtaa was beyond amazing—it was a true delight for the taste buds. And let's not forget about their unforgettable cocktail—combining the flavors of strawberry, smoothie, and avocado smoothie was an absolute stroke of genius. The resulting mix was simply fantastic. This place is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or a craving for Middle Eastern delicacies.

Amazing food and people. One of the best baklava I’ve had, and the cocktails are sublime and refreshing. Will be going here again.

The raspberry avocado smoothie loaded with roasted nuts and fresh fruits is a must try and of course the authentic baklava.

Very friendly staff.
Clean and relatively fresh.
Seating is limited and cosy. Small space, not set up for proper eat in, but clean.
Most sweet pieces are normal or average 'market' size and quality. Wish if they make some of the high quality small pieces that are well crafted.
Despite the average quality, the price is above average (borderline high). I would expect the quality to improve for the asking price, or the price to go down for this average quality.

I was craving for knafeh and they happen to have 3 kinds - all of them are good! The sugar syrup was wonderfully aromatic with fragrant orange blossom - it's so good. We chose the prepacked cashew baklava on offer which are cut into small bite sized pieces. This cafe also offer a variety of coffees, ice creams and those simple yet delightful old-fashioned creamed cakes (whole/slices). A truely wonderful find in Western Melbourne!

Quality is better, in my opinion, compared to the equivalent cafes along Sydney Road in Coburg. It's in a slightly industrial area, but very pleasant sitting outside in the covered area on a summer evening. Good selection of desserts and the staff are very friendly. A hidden gem, and worth the trip if you like Lebanese desserts and are nearby.

Really good sweets but you really shouldn't force your customers to pay in cash only. As a customer I'm not fussed on your tax but I would like the convenience to pay on card like 95% of stores these days.

Tax evaders!
Mona sweets is a cash only business that operates without eftpos machines to evade tax
This is the case even during the Covid19 pandemic.
They also have the worst customer service

I whent there a few days ago i was buying some sweets when the time came to pay the man said cash only the atm only took out $40 and i got charged $2.50 fees then i told the lady just give me $40 worth of sweets then she got a eftpos machine and wanted to charge me the remaining balance plus $2.50 for $10 min eftpos i asked her why they said no eftpos if they have one so they dont show tax how much there real income is and are happy to charge customers $5 in fees bad service, rude and sweets were not fresh never going there again if i could leave a zero star i would better off going to another sweet shop.

What a great find by wifey. Everything is amazing about this place. You name it rather it’s customer service, food products or quantity. In a nutshell great place to visit when you crave desserts.

Large variety of desserts! The thing is that don't accept card payment, only cash. The ATM installed inside charges you $2.5 per transaction.

Tried the cocktail was amazing but had too much cream in it and on top. Next time will ask for it only ontop.
