Mediocre.
Pork and Apple Sausages with nothing apple about them.
Chicken skewers were chewy. Texture Reminded me of defrosted meat and the flavour was lacking.
Best bit about it was the Lamb Chop - Excellent.
Stick to the basic cuts, don’t try anything too frilly.

Highest quality meats around, Paul is a very knowledgeable butcher, helpful and he has never tried to sell me the wrong piece of meat or leftovers cuts like many butchers around have done.

what more could you ask for from your local community butcher.not to mention their meat is fantastic i won't buy anywhere else

Great service, since we only have 2 people in our house we only get a small amount and it is never a problem to choose 1 of something and 1 of something else. Good selection of meats. Lots of homemade stuff available. Prices are good too, comparable to the supermarket (maybe $1 more a kilo for some meat), but you get better quality and service, so I prefer to come here for all my meats.

Im a customer for years. Great quality, superb knowledge, someone that really loves meat and his work. Love the place. I moved out of the area for a while but once back in Mentone will go there again!

Really sorry to say but the worst scotch fillet I have had. Normally buy meat from Daylesford butchers. This was very poor quality.

Definitely give it a miss. I usually support my local butcher, but 75% of the meat looks dry and past its used by date.
