Mornington Peninsula Visitor Information Centre reviews
18I didn't get the name of the lovely woman at the desk when we visited but she was welcoming and very helpful!
Great beach camping, walking, bicycling and kayaking - shame the camping closes End of May
Great customer service first time user for information electronically via email for caravaning in the area.excellent assistance with follow up emails.use them they are damn good at helping people discover the Mornington Peninsula
A great place for finding out more about the area with very helpful, friendly staff to assist you and oodles of printed information to pick up on a variety of themes, depending on ones interests. We saw much more of the Peninsula than we might have as result of our visit and chat.
Friendly staff to greet and help you, and a good selection of brochures and magazines on local food, wine, attractions and walks.
Very friendly welcome with a smile and both ladies in attendance listened to our questions and immediately pick the precise printed inf we were looking for. Then added their local knowledge and insights to make our weekend easier to enjoy.
They wished us a safe a d happy journey. Wish all were this helpful friendly and nice.
Assistance provided was friendly and very helpful.
Took away lot of information which will help us make the most of the week we have in the region.
We where a 4 family had tents on sand but the toilets need attention plus mer toilets papers and more or large bins for recycling water was clean and beautiful
I was brought here by this lovely woman. I cannot believe that it is so stunning view for me. The most beautiful beach in Melbourne. The sea is so clear, blue sky of water.
Friendly helpful locals who have passion for sharing the wonderful peninsula with visitors. A huge variety of brochures available and souvenirs.
The staff are lovely and very helpful. Plenty brochures, pamphlets, maps and booklets all of things to do and see around Mornington Peninsula. There was also information on rules and regulations about boating, marine life, fishing etc
Excellent very helpful staff who really know the area and are keen to help. My queries were walks around the peninsula - got a selection and background on great ocean road - my next destination. In addition easy access on the coast road and plenty of parking. A great example for all information centres.
Well location on the road side, easy for any tourists to stop by and get in. Parking is also near by.
I really like the park around (more like a picnic spot) and beach right across.
PS: Toilets are available and open to public. Such a convenience.
Helpful & courteous staff, heaps of local information on what to do & where to go on Mornington peninsula.
Nice place but crowded on a good weekend, lots of traffic coming back into City on in the afternoon on weekends, slows right down to a crawl on the freeways!
This is great place to visit in evening time.
Awesome beach & sunset experience.
Must go to Eagle Rope Point.
Friendly however we arrived in the middle of a gale desperate to find somewhere safe to stop as our motorhome was becoming unsafe to drive. Because we had a small dog there was no where for us to go. If it was a bushfire maybe things would have been different however the staff did not seem to understand the urgency of our situation. We finally found shelter behind the church thanks to the generosity of the parish priest. Currently observing trees down in the park behind the info centre.
