Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie reviews
70Unbelievably delicious ice cream and chocolates! An absolute must when visiting the Mornington Peninsula.
What can I say, Gelato.
Great flavours and good portion sizes.
Highly recommend.
Friendly staff and great coffees. The main attraction here, though, is the chocolate. And there's plenty of delicious chocolate to choose from. Coming in all shapes and flavours and budgets. You can do a tasting or make a Rocky Road, or get an ice cream. All great choices.
Best cup of tea. Made with tea leaves. Glad general store Waa closed so we could discover this Gem at Flinders. Hubby said cappuccino was great too.
Great quality chocolate and ice creams. Price is good $4.50 for one scoop and $8.50 for 2.6 chocolates for $12. I had a promotional French Connection hot chocolate with cognac chocolate balls, a shot of chocolate and marshmallows. Then I lay on the grass for 15 minutes to recover. Great.
5 stars if you please let people help themselves to the chocolate samples like they used to, you've taken the fun out of the experience by changing this and I'm certain people are unlikely to catch Covid this way (and would probably be willing to take the risk). It was not so exciting for the kids (or adults) and kind of changes you to just a regular shop. Your chocolate is absolutely delicious however! So still definitely worth a visit
The chocolate truffle collection is absolutely divine! I tried one with chillies, coconut and one with hazelnut and it was so delicate. Kudos to the chocolate chef.
This is a must destination for all, you not find better chocolate anywhere in the world. So many different shapes sizes and flavours, head on over today and enjoy a scenic drive along the way totally recommend
Besides being a great ice cream shop they have plenty of seats out the front so you can sit and enjoy in the sunshine.
Small selection of ice creams and chocolates on display, smaller than the one in Yarra Glen. But still a good quick visit if you are in the area
Always delicious! The icecream serves are enormous though, so order less that you think you need
I had the pleasure of treating my grandson to a trip to this delightful store on Sunday and was served by the most delightful lady called Carol (name tag on) she was extremely knowledgeable in helping us choose some yummy chokkies! My grandson was totally spoilt by Carol with some free treats! I bought some freeze dried strawberries encased in chocolate and they were delicious!
Will definitely go back for some Xmas treats.
Here you will find the nicest chocolate you will taste. Great range and reasonably priced. The ice cream is fantastic too.
Chocolate stuff were good to talk about. However, their ordering system for food through QR code was inconvenient as it does not have the option for consumers to note the allergens. The menu ingredients list itself is not helpful for people with allergies or intolerances. If the food business is registered with the local council then they should make an effort that the consumers are adequately inform about allergens. The staff at the counter who serve me was rude and ignorant - I know you serve 2000 people a day but you sell food to your consumers, the consumers need to be well informed of the allergens.
If you like chocolate this is the place, you can try before you buy and you will buy, hot drinks available as well.
Had a wonderful experience here and tried some of the best the chocolate I have ever tasted. Highly recommend.
Love the hot chocolate there. I highly recommend darker one as it is a perfect balance of sweet and bitter taste of real dark chocolate?
Loved this place with such friendly staff and an amazing chocolate tasting session with Steph where my family of 8 including a 15 month toddler were given such special attention. The chocolates are amazing and I could have bought every type of chocolate in the shop. The coffee and hot chocolate drinks were fantastic and they also have a nice selection of ice cream, bit cold for us on a winters day. Will definitely be back as this place does not disappoint especially where it’s located in the quaint little town of Flinders that has many other shops of interest.
Absolutely love the shop and the gelato ice cream was absolutely delicious.
I had a young lady first day of work and her customers service was absolutely fantastic
Satisfy your chocolate and ice cream cravings!
If you want to grab the same affordable and yummy chocolates as the sister's branch in Yarra Valley then this store is a must visit if you're in the area. They don't have the same cafe menu and the store is small but you can still get their regular range of chocolates, ice cream, and coffee.
The instore theme and set up gives off the same vibe with their distinct colours but with some chocolates's packing to promote the local sights and seasonal events.
There is a wheelchair ramp inside and space is small. If you want to sit down to enjoy your ice cream or coffee then there are outdoor seatings.
